Clique is compatible with the Apple Magic Trackpad (1st Gen) and the Apple Wireless Keyboard, sold 2003 - Late 2015. Smartly unite Apple's Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad into a single, streamlined unit. Clique's one-piece chassis aligns perfectly with the aluminum structure of the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad, and allows the user to retain full functionality on both a desktop surface and in their lap. External power buttons enable the keyboard and trackpad to be powered on or off without the need to remove them from the dock.

Clicking works with a few customer modifications
I got the Clique Apple Wireless Keyboard and TrackPad dock tray for Christmas. I was thrilled. Unfortunately the fabrication tolerances for the TrackPad portion of the tray are just not correct or the design erred on the too tight end of the specification. Like others on here, my trackpad had just enough space to click once or twice in the space provided by the tray and would jam in the down (clicked) position. I use the tap to click feature anyway so no problem there. There is no really good substitute for ACTUAL clicking when it comes to dragging. The double-tap and hold feature takes a lot of coordination and it is pretty useless.I was so disappointed I was about to return it. The issue was clearly a 'clearance' issue inside the tray along the bottom edge of the tray on the TrackPad side. So I was confident I could fix it. I just took out my exacto knife and carefully trimmed plastic away inside the tray until the TrackPad had the space to click and return to the non-clicked position. It took a few trims and tries but it works every time now and you would have to look very close to see the trim work.I'm NOT saying this makes the accessory acceptable. It should not be up to the customer to modify a product that should work out of the box. Had they put more time into testing and had tighter controls on manufacturing with maybe a less tight fix for the TrackPad it would be an awesome product. For now it is just acceptable if you want to go to the effort to make it work.Hope this helps some of you that kept the product.

Easiest way to make your own Apple keyboard & trackpad combo
Designed for 4th gen Apple Wireless Keyboard & the 1st gen Magic Trackpad. If you have a Mac Mini plugged to your TV as a media center, then this is definitely a must have, as it provides you with the ease of use while sitting on your couch.Build quality is excellent, and it's very easy to install/remove the keyboard/trackpad.Highly recommended!

Flawed Tolerances, Broke my Trackpad
I read the reviews about the sticking magic trackpad issue, so I can't say that I went into this uninformed. That's my fault.Because the issue with sticking seems to be sporadic, I figured that, if it happened to me, I'd simply fix it (one reviewer mentions shaving away some of the plastic, though, for the life of me, I can't see where the thing is hanging up) or return it. For the first maybe three or four days the Clique worked without a hitch. No sticking at all, worked great. Then, without any reason I can determine—no dust, no dirt, I didn't spill a coke on it—my track pad stopped clicking. Removing the trackpad from the Clique would solve the issue. On a firm surface, my trackpad works just as it should. Put it back in the Clique, after a few clicks, sometimes right away, it sticks. To make matters worse, just before typing this review, I had to remove my trackpad from the Clique yet again and I notice that my trackpad has a diagonal crack from the upper right to the lower left. Whether this was caused by being in the Clique or by having to take it out and put it back, I can't say. But it wasn't there before I purchased and started using the Clique. Fortunately for me, my trackpad still seems to work despite the ugly and now permanent reminder of a flawed product.Use your own judgement, but I recommend giving this a pass.

LOOKS great
...Which is the only reason I gave it two stars. Sleek looking and packaged as beautifully as a real Apple product. The idea is great and I was So looking forward to using it. BUT.. just like many of the reviews state, the compartments that hold the keyboard and the trackpad are too tight. Once I was able to get the peripherals in, the pressure kept pushing the side buttons and turning the devices off!! I tried and tried, cause I really liked the idea of the piece. Since it is just plastic, I was wary of "stretching " it too much for fear that it would break. Called Amazon and, Amazon, as usual, came through again, giving me absolutely no grief about returning it at their expense for a full refund. I went ahead and ordered the "MeshWe Bluefin Seamlessly Connects Magic Trackpad to Apple Wireless Keyboard" mentioned in some of the other reviews. It's a few bucks more, but hopefully worth it. I'll update this review when I receive the other brand as replacement.

Handy way to keep keyboard and trackpad together
I bought this to use with the Koolertron New Silver Aluminum Nottable Laptop Universal 360 degrees Adjustable Stand foldable stand. I have my laptop on the stand and I use my keyboard and trackpad on a desk board on my lap.I thought this item was very expensive, but not having to worry about the keyboard and trackpad sliding around and falling off the lap desk has been worth every cent. Having a nice sturdy holder makes it really easy to use my input devices and move them off the couch when needed.Note that the "on off" button on the side does not work for me; not sure if that's a design issue or if my particular holder has a bug. I have not contacted the company about it because I don't care enough. If you buy this, maybe this will be obvious to you, but in case it is not: the way you assemble it is to lay the top part of your keyboard or trackpad in the holder and gently lower the bottom part into the tray. I thought it had to be snapped in or something. That's how you get them back out to change out batteries, too; simply lift the trackpad or keyboard top from the tray.

Does not work without customer modification
I apparently did not do sufficient research. As many others have stated, the trackpad tolerances are too close and the trackpad will not click without the customer doing modification to the keyboard tray. Since the manufacturer advises that modification, I am not an isolated incidence. That would invalidate return status. I am not used to buying a product that requires user modification to work and submitted for return immediately.

Eine praktische Sache also.

Hollow plastic feel & sound to trackpad click.
Product is as advertised, a nicely designed and reasonably good quality plastic frame mount with rubber contacts for keyboard (left) and trackpad (right). This being said, I was disappointed with the trackpad action, as clicking produces a hollow plastic sound that feels cheap and takes more effort than the trackpad used alone on a flat hard surface, which I much prefer. Fortunately I didn't have the problem that many have reported with the trackpad getting stuck in the 'down' position (see reviews on Amazon.com). On my unit the trackpad fits in comfortably without falling out when turned upside down. The keyboard fits more snugly, but no other issues to speak of except that the plastic was not machined cleanly in one location so there is residual plastic, which doesn't look professional. Unless you plan on using your keyboard and trackpad combo on your lap while watching TV, I wouldn't recommend this for the price. The devices alone line up perfectly on a desktop surface and have their own rubber contacts that prevent any slipping, so this dock is essentially redundant.

Prezzo inadeguato

Man sieht 2 Gusskanten.
