Good value for an econmonical mantel clock
This clock arrived well packed and with all the batteries required to operate it. It is slightly smaller than the older Seth-Thomas mantel clock we replaced, but the pendulum actually spins, whereas the Seth-Thomas version never did. We've had it over a week now, and it seems to keep accurate time. This model does not chime, but we wouldn't use that feature anyway. Yes, it is made of plastic, but it looks authentic even from a short distance. It is a good value for an economical clock solution. Prices on mantel clocks run from $50 to $200, then jump mysteriously to $2000 to $4000. It's interesting there is nothing in between.

TOTAL POS Tried twice, both clocks didn't work for different reasons
First clock clock arrived with the pendulum broken off, and when we looked inside there was no movement! The base was scratched as well. Also, box that contained the box with the clock had no bubble or airbag wrap for protection so the box with the clock was able to slam around during shipping. Returned for second clock, pendulum was attached but only turned half turns, slowly, and clockface hands would not move - so what good is a clock that can't keep time? Save your money, opt for the Bulova (which I ordered, is beautiful, and works great!)

Beautiful Anniversary Clock
It keeps good time and looks beautiful under the glass dome.

Purchased this clock to replace one that had quit working. It looks just like the expensive clocks that were advertised however I should have read the description. The casing is plastic and feels cheap to the touch. But it has kept the correct time for over 3 months. Can't complain, if I don't touch! It was priced accordingly.

Advertised as Stainless steel body and the entire clock is plastic. The dome cover is glass and is ok. The clock back was off the clock and batteries were loose when I opened the box. I found that the clock didn't work. This is not the Seiko brand that I know and trust.

Didn't work, plastic, very noisy
See above. I'll pitch it, it was very overpriced plastic.

Received 2 defective clocks.
We ordered this clock and it did not tell time. We returned it thinking it was defective and received another several days later. Once again the same problem. The clock comes with 2 AA batteries but there is only one battery slot. Also, the instructions show a dial in the back to set the time. Neither of the clocks shipped had this feature.

I love this clock
It came quickly to our home. I bought it as a replacement for a similar anniversary clock I had for 25 years. I loved that clock, but I love this one even more. It is heavier, more sturdy than my trusty old one. It has plastic parts, (so did my old one), but looks like real brass and for the price you don't expect it to be made of real brass. It doesn't chime but I would not use that feature, anyway. A good looking clock and it keeps time perfectly.
