I have very long thick hair, one daughter has short, shoulder length thick hair and these rollers work great for both of us. I've found we can obtain different looks depending on how long they are in or the rolling technique. We can have gentle waves, tight waves, tight curls or gentle curls. They heat up fast and curl fast. I can be ready to go in 10 minutes. We don't experience any kind of frizz unless a brush is used; just gently finger comb once the hair has cooled. The setting will last through the entire day and the night and into the next day. Everyone's hair is different. Just practice with them. Between doing hair for 4 daughters (from thin/thick, straight shoulder to wavy hip length) and many of their friends, I have used a LOT of different types of hair accessories and products, etc,---- Bed Head items are ones I really like and come back too. I have a couple different types of their rollers and wands. They are also very light weight and great for travel. We always get complimented on our hair & always recommend Bed Head products.

There is a bit of a learning curve on these rollers, at least for me. Instead of beachy waves, I am getting really, really curly hair. Think home perm in the 50's or 60's. Not as I expected. I think for the type of hair I have (already on the curly side) larger rollers would have been better. If you have straight or slightly wavy hair, these rollers would work be ideal. I've tried using larger sections of hair on the rollers but still came out way too curly. I think I will look for a set of these rollers where the individual rollers are much larger.

These work great. Curls start out like spirals but afyer a little while relax into nice beachy waves. If you have shorter hair, I'm not sure how much they would relax. I have hair that goes below my shoulder blades and there are enough curlers to do all of it. My 7 year old has hair about as long as mine, but because it is thicker she could use about 3 more curlers.You have to remove the plate and curlers from the bag before heating up, which is inconvenient because the curlers usually fall off when you do so. A thermal bag that plugged in would be a huge improvement.

My naturally curly hair has thinned a good deal with ageing, and I had hoped to achieve an effect of fuller, tousled curls. Though the curlers gave it a bit more fullness, it actually made my hair look much straighter. Perhaps my shoulder-length hair is not long enough for the effect advertised to be achieved, but it was disappointing. It looks no different than if I'd intentionally put in hot curlers to make my hair look straighter. Perhaps I need to experiment more with the curlers, but this was one useless investment so far.

Very unhappy with purchase. Hair does not roll easily, keeps falling out. Was hoping for a more wavy look, but the clips left a "ridge" in my hair where they held the roller. The result was a mix of crimps and ridges. Product is cheaply made, too. Should of only cost half the price of what I paid.

Love love love!!!!!! Best and easiest way to get curls on the go. I have relatively short hair with medium thickness and they're awesome!! You have to wrap your hair around the rollers as you want them to look. Once you wrap the top section of hair don't wrap the bottom section of hair too high up on the roller otherwise you'll have a looser top and tight curl on the bottom. Wrap them evenly. You'll understand once you get the product and try it out. Otherwise love! Also watch the was you clamp the securing clamp, it may leave weird kinks in your hair if it's not clamped on the right way.

Heats up fast and hotter than others I've tried. Holds style well. But...only if you have longer hair or if you do not have a layered cut.
