Art Since 1900: 1900 to 1944

This book is very thorough and the authors are really heavy in art theory. At times it is tough to understand and the text could be simplified for better understanding. But even then I still learned a lot from this and have a greater appreciation for modern art. The book is also unbiased when explaining the various politics that influenced art during this time.

Had to get this book for a Modern Art History class. I'm not a fan of modern art but the book did what its meant to. Easy reading as far as a college textbook goes.

I liked the book but I didn't love it. I found the chapters extremely informative but not as enjoyable to read.

Difficult for a college freshman, but really helpful.

The only thing I found wrong was a bent corner on the cover, which doesn't really bother me. Only got because of classes.

Great book to know about art

This book arrived just in time and in great condition! The text in this book can be very confusing which is perfect for the century it is written on. 20th century art has always been a difficult subject for me. The year with cubism, futurism, neoplasticism, etc. Drives me nuts! This text can get confusing but is very detailed. All and all I am satisfied!
