Looks great, even without paint on them.
Flares look great, not too hard too install. the rubber trim piece was the hardest thing. I should have let them warm up more and would have worked better. The small rubber seal was the only reason of the 4 star rating. I also purchased them as the "used", great deal, as they were items that had been returned.

Not what is in the picture they are much larger!
Item is total different then what it should be it's a lot bigger than what the picture depicts. I haven't had time to put them on but will withing the next week or two. I have to ensure that they will fit on the back without coveringup the z71 fender logo. If they do I will be returning them. If they don't cover up the z71 I'll keep them as I'm planning on trading in the truck within the year so I be able to live with them being much larger than I like. I will update if they will fit.

I Had To Drill The Rears
I just put these on. They look great on my dark blue 2008 Silverado LTZ. I was thinking about getting them painted but decided to leave them black. The reason I got them was because the paint started to bubble around parts of the rear wheel wells. I did my best to rust proof all the rust spots and did the inside wheel walls with POR 15. Just minor rust, nothing major. The front went on without a hitch, but the back ones needed to be drilled in a few places. The rubber trim gave me fits on the rear also, but got er done. 4 stars because I had to drill but everything turned out great!

Used on my 08 Silverado
I needed a set of flares since my tires stick out well fast my fenders. I decided to go with these bushwackers since they seemed to be the one most speak about and support. The installation was not too hard, instructions were straight forward as well. My biggest complaint was that I wanted to leave these black since my truck has that black theme going already. Upon arrival these seemed to have already been scratched up. They were not deep scratches, but rather surface scratches that would not come off. This left me with no choice but to paint them. I used bed liner paint which stuck to the flare easily. Overall they look nice and fitment was good, but I cannot justify the cost. They're are other fender flares out there, maybe not with the bushwacker name but others that are similar for much less. Since these also will need painted, unless surface scratches don't bother you, even more so to save your money and get basically the same thing for less elsewhere.

These look great!
These covered the rust around our pickup's fenders. (hubby sanded/painted 1st) Installation took longer than expected, the holes didn't match up so he had to drill a couple new ones. They look awesome and really beef up his truck! I wouldn't go with any of the cheaper brands. Bushwacker sounds tough for a reason; they are!

Overall a Great Purchase & More than I Expected!
After researching several different makes, I bought these for my 2009 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab which is a platinum metallic. One of the main reasons I purchased these was the "No Drill" mounting feature; I hate to drill holes in any vehicle.I took them to my local body shop to get painted and mounted. The owner warned me that the color was very difficult to match, until I told him about the black rubber bead seats between the flare and body which gives a break so the color doesn't clash, even if off a shade. When I picked up the truck, the shop owner told me these were the nicest fitting flares he has ever mounted and the "No Drill" feature saved them time and potential errors. Of course they look perfect. The bonus was my WeatherTech no drill mudflaps still fit, something I didn't expect.

Great looking flares!
I bought these flares specifically for the additional front wheel well clearance they provide where I'm running 35X12.5R22's. They do require sheet metal trimming and alteration for installation of the fronts. Not hard to install if your accustomed to working on your own vehicles. The directions are enough to get you through the process but they are far from crystal clear. Haven't had them painted to match yet but they look great as is and the fit the body lines very well. Only down fall, in my opinion, they are ridiculously over priced for what they are.... just molded plastic. Beyond that, I'm happy.

Surface quality
Just rec'd these and opened the box. Wasn't excited about the finish but worse yet found a ton of rub marks and small scratches that won't come out. I expected a lot better quality for the money that I spent. I thought about asking for a replacement but I suspect the replacement will be the same. Will probably spray them with Raptor bed liner which I am doing the rocker panels with. So will match better. This is a simple plastic injected molding product...can't see that much investment to make these. Somebody is making a lot of money off this product.
