Reminds me of my Childhood
I grew up in Africa where you could pick guavas right off a tree while you were on vacation. Well that is where I first tasted guavas. My dad boiled them in a sugar syrup and we served them with custard. The Koo guavas have been a favorite since I moved back to the States. I keep buying this brand and love the flavor. If you don't like the seeds, they are easy to remove with a dessert spoon. I look forward to getting these when they are in stock and serving them with homemade Bird's custard.~The Rebecca Review

koo guava halves
I purchased 6 cans of the Koo Guava Halves as I miss the taste of guavas. I am from New Zealand and have a great deal of difficulty finding the pink guavas which are so tasty. When the Koo Guavas arrived, I tried them and it brought me right back to when I lived in New Zealand. They are fantastic and I highly recommend them to anyone. They are pricey, but well worth the cost. I only wish that I could purchase them in the supermarkets here in Texas.

Flavorless Guava halves
It barely tastes like guava. It’s not sweet at all but it has over 20 grams of sugar. Also the syrup is a flavorless goo and the guava texture or consistency isn’t there. Not a good product.

Lovely taste of home
Truly miss the lovely pink fresh guavas I remember from growing up in South Africa. Canned guavas with custard was a favorite item on school lunch. Wish I could find the ones in light syrup, but these truly hit the spot! Much nicer than the canned yellow ones found in Latino grocery stores. Will buy again and again.

Yum!
Heaven on earth! It reminds me of childhood vacations in South Africa.

Happy Wife
Bought it for my wife and she loves it. I personally don't like the hard seeds in it, but if it makes my wife happy, I'll give it a two thumbs up.
