Great experience
This was an extra remote to keep on hand in different area of the house, works perfectly with my retractable awning. Only had to press both set up buttons, and the new remote learns from the first remote all the settings. Just make sure it’s compatible with what you want it to pair it to. Quick delivery from seller.

I am the owner of Somfy patio remote for my Awning over 15 years and trying to set it to stop at certain times, that was my problem, otherwise it worked fine

Poor instructions.
The instructions were very poorly done. I ended up going online to try to get the remote paired with the awning. There were various different instruction videos, and they all didn't have the same sequence of instructions. It took me about 4 or 5 hours to get the remote programmed.

Extremely difficult to program.
I'm only giving this 2 stars because the remote itself is good. The instructions. GARBAGE. Had to go to many YouTube sites, etc to get it going. The result: I currently have a one foot gash in my awning and cannot retract it and have to spend more money to have someone come out to fix the mess because the instructions are GARBAGE.

The instructions included to program have to be the most confusing set of directions ever. Had to look it up on YouTube and still don’t have it right The initial is good quality though

It does function well
This remote works if you utube how to pair with your awnings. However, it very expensive for a basic piece of plastic!
