Auto Upkeep: Basic Car Care, Maintenance, and Repair (Workbook) Paperback – February 12, 2013

Bought this for a homeschool class my son was taking. I will go through this myself and with my daughter as well. This is a great accompaniment to the book.

great workbook, I'm currently taking an automotive class and this is the book we are learning from. It's not the textbook, but I highly recommend you buy the text book, just so you can review whenever you might forget something. Satisfied with the learning material.

Nicely laid out. This was a text required for my sons class. I like a workbook companion product for students, so I am pleased. The price is very fair also.

A great companion for the Auto Upkeep text. Full color, beautiful and comprehensive illustrations and lots, lots, lots of information. Every driver should have this information.

Perhaps needs to come with the text, but everything is done online in terms of research, etc. There are many lines that say, "When the teacher holds up the different types of tools, write them down".....But, I don't have a teacher and am using this to learn more about cars so I'm still a bit lost. The idea of this workbook is awesome because I love learning by doing. But a lot of stuff is left out because I believe it's covered in the text. Make sure to just buy both of them rather than just the workbook like I did. That was my bad for not paying attention though so I can't be mad at the authors. Really innovative idea

11 grade home school class with work book

This book has been very useful for me. I've had a car for several years, but never knew some of the more basic things I could do to keep my car in better condition. I would just bring it to the dealer to have them look at it, and then pay for it of course. But now with this book, I can figure out the basic things like oil changes and looking for a leak in a tire if it's running low. I know that this won't keep me from going to the dealership, but it will help me to save some money by being able to do some things on my own.Thanks again, great book.

Michael did a fantastic job writing this book. Every basic system of a vehicle is covered as well as many other great topics. Any car care or introductory automotive teacher should have this in their classroom. The resources that come with buying the books are dynamite as well. It makes my job as a teacher much easier when these resources provide such a great start.
