Swan Lake Ballet Theatre

A wonderful toy/book/CD set for little girls and adult collectors of paper dolls, and ballet fans. The theater is beautifully designed and so are the paper dolls; the beautiful box turns into a theater. There are different sceanery and there is a paperback storybook as well. The only drawback is the CD; it plays only music and is it not of good quality. I believe that a narration of the Swan Lake story on the CD would have been better for little girls who don't yet read, so that they could hear and follow the story. An audio of the story would have been more useful to a very little girl. Still a wonderful set to behold and I would highly recommend. I also have purchased The Nutcracker set, and the Sleeping Beauty set. All wonderful.

This was a Christmas gift to my 8 year old niece (along with tickets to see Swan Lake)and was a great hit. Besides the theater with dancers and scene changes there is a story book and a CD with the music. I think this is really better for the 7-10 year old set, the paper dolls are a bit fragile and the book and music are really aimed at older kids (the book even shows part of the score, for those who can read music). Some of the dancers are en pointe and can twirl. Hours of fun, and I expect that she will keep returning to this as she learns more about music and ballet.

I ordered this and sent it last week by my daughter-in-law with a box full of "goodies" to a family in Ohio who has adopted eight out of the country children and who have three children of their own. The day my daughter-in-law arrived, the granddaughter of the couple had her first ballet lesson!!!! I've received wonderful reviews of the Swan Lake Ballet Theatre from that family. It also happens to be my favorite as I've used the perfume "Pavlova" for many years. Thank you for your part in making a child connect her first lesson with this wonderful ballet!!!!!

This is a spectaacular item for a little girl (for whom it was purchased). It provides hands-on play with ballet scenery and cut-out performers, and also audio. We ordered it for a gift for one of our grandchildren. We very much appreciate your making it available, and also the timely response of the person who sent it to us. A+ all around! Purchased this for an adult friend that always wanted to be a ballerina and she loved it. It has nice detail and looks like a lot of fun for any wanna be!

I bought this as a fifth Birthday present for my great niece who has taken up ballet lessons in the last year. Within half an hour of it being opened I received a voice mail from her Mother saying it was the most incredible and inspired choice and that Bella, her Daughter, was absolutely enthralled with it and that it would be used and treasured for many years to come. The product was beautifully presented and of very good quality. A fantastic present for any budding ballerina!
