A little uncomfortable, but probably effective - worth it
To start, I should say that I received this product as a gift as a tester. As far as sizing, I am a size 8/10 (usually "medium") and the XS/S size worked out fine for me. (There is also a size M/L).The hip belt felt a little awkward in its proper placement (1 inch below hip bone, across the butt) so I didn't ever wear the belt for more than 3 hours at a time. That's not a problem with the product necessarily - probably all hip belts feel awkward. I would mostly wear the hip belt at a time when I'd be up and walking around, cooking, etc, because it felt awkward to wear while sitting. If I sat down in any kind of soft chair, the belt would shimmy up around my hip bones, necessitating a readjustment when I stood (not to be done in company). The elastic side bands for getting just the right tightness were great, and also present in the Shrinkx Belly band.I wore the hip belt starting at 1 week postpartum, for about 1-3 hours, about 5 days out of 7. I wore it until 7 weeks postpartum (when I developed some pubic symphysis pain that my midwife & neurologist didn't think were related to the hip belt). I wore it after my second (and last) child and my hips went from 36 inches to 34.5 inches. I wish I knew what my pre-pregnancy hip size was, but the best test for me is the ability to fit into my favorite jeans again - and I do! (admittedly, how much to attribute to the belt, I don’t know).

It ACTUALLY works!!
So I waited awhile before writing my review of this. I was skeptical when I purchased this, but just giving birth to my 5th child I figured what do I have to loose...other than $40 bucks.Let me start by saying with each of my previous pregnancies it took me about 6 months to return to my pre-pregnancy size. I am not a large woman, I am 5'3" and weigh about 115 pounds and wear a size 3/5 pre-pregnancy.Usually after delivering I have to wear the dreaded maternity clothes for a few months while my body is "returning to normal".So after my last baby (baby # 5) I decided to give this a try. I AM GLAD I DID!When I returned home from the hospital, I started wearing this from the time I woke up in the morning until I went to bed. By4-5 weeks post partum I was back into my pre-maternity pants! (My tummy is a different story) But this actually sped up my hips returning back to normal! That has NEVER happened this fast on my previous pregnancies! I highly recommend Shrinkx Hips to everyone!

Pushed everything back in
This is a great product. I used it for most of the 8 weeks post baby. Held hips snug even while walking but be sure to wear it over clothes, pants won't fit your rear if you try to wear it under. Only problem is you have to be standing, walking or sitting (with knees together) for it to fit right. No cross legged sitting or lounging about with this. It totally works, my hips went back to pre-baby size, but is too expensive for what it is...strong piece of elastic with velcro. It is in great shape after the short use so I sold mine to recoup some of the expense. FYI you can get a really nice FREE belly compression wrap from the hospital if you just ask for it (not automatically given anymore).

Not comfortable
If you plan on only standing or lying down while wearing this product then it would probably be comfortable but if you sit at all it doesn't stay in place and the area where the Velcro is is so stiff and pokey it's uncomfortable. So far I have not been able to wear this for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time. I don't think I will be able to say if it works or not because itDoesn't seem like I will be able to wear it for long enough to get the results it claims to give.

Good when need a break from the Ultra
I purchased both the regular and the ultra. This is a nice break when my hips need a break from being in the Ultra. It's lighter weight and does move around on my hips some. It is harder for me to get it as tight as the Ultra so I only wear it for a couple hours at a time and then go back to the ultra. It definitely will not stay put at night to sleep in.

Not for C-Section
An unexpected C-Section meant this would not work for me. I couldn't touch my stomach during the three weeks you can actually use these so by the time I could wrap something tightly around my hip area it was too late according to the fact that you need to use it right away while the hormones are still making things "flexible". Nonetheless I gave it a shot but it was just too uncomfortable to wear - perhaps on a smaller person it would feel better.

If you don't sit down
Yeah great if you are standing or walking, not sitting. So annoying if you are up and down from a nursing chair. Not sure about results yet. I did have loose hips and ligaments during pregnancy, afterbirth I felt very loose and this made me feel more secure less pain and hip didnt feel out of place. Good support .

Not Small Enough
Prior to pregnancy I had a 24.5 inch waist, so I'm fairly small. My hips were 34 inches. I tried to tighten this as much as possible to get it to fit, but it still had too much give in it to be effective in any way. I took it to my chiropractor to see if I was using it properly, and he immediately commented that it was too large and that the material was not strong enough to help move the hips back into place.

Aún no se si se obtendrán resultados.Fácil de poner pero es difícil saber si consigues estrechar cintura ya que no lleva marcas que lo indiquen.Al sentarse y en determinados movimientos se arruga.
