Excellent Parts
These things were perfect for what I needed. A couple of comments:POINT ONE: While shopping for these, I noted that some other manufacturers use "non standard" sizes for the screws that come into the adapter from the sides. This can be a problem if you are trying to install these in a tool-less hard drive enclosure, which will obviously use the same diameter and pitch which is standard for 3.5 inch drives. Rest assured that this unit uses the same screws as a hard drive would, and worked perfectly for my internal hard drive rack, as the pics illustrate. Which brings me to. . .POINT TWO: At first, the mounting screws needed for my internal HD rack would not thread into the holes in the adapter, and I thought I had been foiled. When I carefully looked at the mounting screws provided with the kit, I noted that they were not "normal" straight cut machine screws, but that they were tapered. This made me realize that the tapered screws were needed to cut through the blue coating, which also covers the threads in the mounting holes. Therefore, if you are using screws other than those provided, you must first use the tapered screws to "chase" the threads, as you might do with a tap. After this has been done, the coating is cut away from the threads, and my special hardware for my internal tool-free HD rack threaded in easily.TL:DR - great quality pieces at a great price. Buy!

Works great!
Didn't really need a 2 pack but for the price why not. Worked great for installing a SSD drive in my desktop computer.

Quite sturdy, Reasonable price, Worked well using the supplied mounting screws.
These are actually pretty well built brackets for the price. I read a few other reviews that indicated issues with screw hole alignment, and I can see that using some screw-less quick mounts may be an issue. I just used the screws to mount it and had no trouble.

Works great, But……
I upgrade lots of PCs from HDD to SSDs. I got this item because it was the cheapest 2 pack available. Normally the side mounts or screw holes is all you need. But on some Small form factor cases the mounting holes for the 3.5” drive are on the bottom of the drive. This does not have any except for the mounting holes for the 2.5” SSD. If I had the correct tools, I would have done it myself, but I am not a machinist. And good luck finding a tap that small. Sufficed to say I had to buy another mount to the SSD into the Lenovo Thinkcentre 90F1 case.

Order some longer SATA cables too
Install is pretty easy, of course it's not gonna line up exactly with every HDD slot in the works, so you're not gonna use all the screws, but it's enough to be sturdy just about anywhere. You just need to make sure you have long enough cables, and that's something I over looked at first

The bracket was as exactly as advertised.
I liked it just fine. My son upgraded my computer for me. As it turns out I didn't need the brackets, but my son is keeping them just in case he might need them later on.

Just fantastic!
Two brackets instead of one for the same price from Crucial. Slightly larger and sturdier than Crucial's. I don't remember screws from Crucial and these came with ample screws. As noted by someone else, each package of screws had an extra to handle the almost inevitable drop of a tiny screw. Also as noted, the hole spacing was a little long, but I managed to clip the side rails from my Raidmax Smilodon case onto them. They then just slipped into the drive bay and clicked. I had to leave Crucial's sitting loose on the bay floor. Also happy with the blue powdercoat instead of the same dreary black on everything!A really really good buy!

These Brackets are Just Right
These have the correct threads in the screw holes where the screws go that previously mounted the 3.5" drive you are replacing. The ones I was buying before had the same fine threads that a 2.5" drive has, meaning that the mounting screws that were on the computer didn't work. That may not seem like a big deal until you try to mount one of them inside an iMac, which of course has the most unique and impossible-to-duplicate screws holding in the 3.5" drive, and replacing them is simply not going to happen. No more of the black ones for me - Hymeca is the only brand I'll buy now.
