SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness - Medium/Large (Wide) Red with Black

We love this harness! Been using for a few months now - an upgrade from a Kurgo Tru-Fit harness. Although it doesn't stop our Great Pyrenees from pulling completely but it reduces the force in which she does pull with its front clip system. Much easier to stop the pulling and better for control over our big dog and encourages her to walk beside me instead of ahead. Very easy to fit and put on, and we fasten her leash onto the Sensation as well as her collar to make it more secure. A wriggly dog could escape if just leashed onto the harness only. Our dog unfortunatelyis unpredictable with some dogs and she morphs from a super sweet thing into a ferocious beast! So we keep it clipped to both harness and collar on all our walks to be on the safe side.Straps doesn't really loosen with use but we do check and adjust the fit occasionally. But it can't be left on the pup unattended as it would be easy for them to chew through the straps! No chaffing under the arms with the padded straps but it could be because of her long thick coat. I also like that it hasn't got a vest like the Kurgo and other harnesses to keep walks as cool as possible.

I have a border collie / australian kelpie cross breed who likes to pull with standard leashes and collars. I have used the gentle leader with him and had positive results, but it often agitated his nose and he really didn't like it much, even with a little more slack than they recommend.This product eliminates that discomfort for him, but because of its very specific requirement for positioning, it can be a pain in the butt to get adjusted, especially with their very basic, limited instruction packet (one sheet with a beagle-like illustration). They may have instructional videos online, but I think they would have to make one for many different types of dogs to really make it the best review.Rated 4 stars for the difficult to fit, otherwise it is fantastic, helps prohibit pulling, and seems to be much more comfortable for my pup. With more fitting support for more types of dogs, I would rate 5 stars.

Try to get the right size as the adjustments on the harness are not a flexible as I would like. Used the large on a German Shorthair Pointer and the chest strap was a little loose even though it was adjusted as tight as possible. Dog is a 1 year old and likes to chew and was able to get to the chest strap and give it a chew. With that said it does make walking the dog much more pleasurable than a traditional choke collar or standard collar. I have tried just about all the no-pull setups available and this is the best so far. Keep in mind no collar will replace good heeling training for an aggressive pulling dog. With the right training and this harness your walks will be fun.

I learned about the Sense-ible harness while going through training to volunteer at my local SPCA and decided to purchase one for my own dogs. (The SPCA uses the harness to walk the dogs that pull on a leash.). The harness for the Sense-ation harness is basically the same as the Sense-ible harness and made by the same company, but the main difference is that the Sense-ation belly strap is made with a softer fabric (for comfort); so this review could equally apply to the Sense-ible harness. I bought one of these for each of my two dogs. You have to play around a bit at first use to make sure that you fit the harness properly for your dog to assure comfort and effectiveness. My dogs are not hard to walk on a leash but the occasional pulling takes away enjoyment from the walk (they are 58 lb labs). With the harness, the walks have become incredibly easy and I think my dogs are enjoying the difference just as much as me; they are so relaxed! I am very glad that I purchased this.

Excellent harness to prevent your dog pulling you. When your dog tries to pull it causes them to correct without discomfort to the dog. 1st purchased at dog obedience class when recommended. Walking our dog with this harness is awesome. He gets excited when we get it out and then "dives" his head into the harness because he is so excited to go for a walk. Our dog unfortunately chewed up the 1st one that we had so we ordered a replacement on Amazon. Excellent product and worth every penny!

We love this it is really helpful training our puppy how to walk with a loose leash. The most difficult part is trying to get an accurate fit especially with an excited 80lb puppy but if your dog is better behaved and will allow you to adjust it while he/she is wearing it it is a godsend. Start training loose leash walking early it really makes a difference. The SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness has been a helpful part of our puppy's training. If you look online there are videos that help demonstrate how this harness works and how to adjust.

I've tried several harnesses for my dog but this is the only one she will wear willingly. She is a bit leach reactive and having a front leash ring works great with her, I used a prong collar on her between harnesses and this works just as well if not better when she reacts to another dog. WOuld definitely recommend this product!

We had previously purchased this for our own dog and when our son's dog came to live with us we knew we had to order another one. The harness is very easy to put on and off the dog. The instructions were very helpful with making the proper adjustments for fitting. Both of our dogs are much more responsive to us and walk much easier. There is a lot less pulling. The harness helps with a more enjoyable walk for all 4 of us. We would recommend it to other dog owners.
