We love our espresso’s. So much so, we enjoy 4-5 of these a day between my wife and I. The taste is perfect and the tea bag type pods are the only way to go. Of course, you pay for the convenience of not having to grind your own coffee. We order it by the case and it lasts us 3-4 months. The only way to go for us espresso lovers on a budget.

I use the pods for my $100 Delonghi. Started off with Lavazza Gran Espresso, but found that was on the weaker side. Decided to give these a try (Mercanti Rossa)...Much stronger, intense flavor! Definitely worth trying.

The coffee don’t come through packet , I have to open packet and pour it in the holder which defeats purpose of single serve NO MESS but coffee flavor is really good

Very easy to use with my Delonghi espresso machine and produces a great, rich espresso shot flavor. I usually do 2 shots for a 12oz latte and the balance between the caffeine taste and milk is spot on, just like I would get in any coffee shop around the town.

Not creamy and not good.

These do not work consistently in my espresso machine. I've found that I need to empty the grounds out of the pods directly into the portafilter to get a proper espresso - which kind of defeats the whole purpose of using a pod. The espresso is weak and watered down otherwise. I've never had issues with other pods. The taste is also a tad bitter. I won't be buying this again.

Made a mistake on purchase the Red one and I didn't have a chance to return the product.

An excellent coffee with hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. Treat yourself to this intense coffee….. nothing compares to this delicious coffee

It's incredible that I never knew about the ESE system before. It's so much better than pods in my opinion. I've tried various coffee brands with my ESE machine and have always been impressed with the quality of the coffee it produces. I recently decided to take advantage of the great value offered by Caffe Mercanti, but I was a bit hesitant to order such a large quantity. If you love the bold and intense flavors of dark roasted coffee that's just on the edge of being burnt, the Rossa is a fantastic choice. It's rare to find a coffee this dark without any bitterness, teasing to the point of burnt hits that perfect balance. I usually make custom shots in the morning by running the coffee for a longer shot. With some other pods, I would need two to get the strength I desired. But with Caffe Mercanti, one pod is all I need for a great traditional short or a longshot. The only downside for me is the plastic individual packaging. I prefer when brands use more environmentally friendly paper packaging. That’s actually one of the reasons I switched to ESE in the first place - to reduce my use of pods environmental impact.

These are great, delicious and easy to make. I love them.

This is awesome espresso! Product is easy to use and tastes great! It's a nice dark espresso and very clean smelling.
