French Almond Dragees (French Jordan Almonds), Yellow color 1kg (2.2lbs)

We tried the two other highly-rated and expensive Jordan almonds from Amazon and compared all three. The cheaper the nut, the more hard candy coating covers the almonds. The cheaper ones also had some rancidity, with a few of the nuts tasting "off." Some nuts still had us chewing candy coating way after the nut was gone! These nuts have a fine, crisp coating that I believe includes some almond oil as well as the tiny but of vanilla that most coatings have - the result is EXCEPTIONAL! My skinny cousin could not stop putting these in her mouth!!! They are delicious and worth the cost (check the sizes- this one is a larger size portion than most). You will not regret one penny spent on these almonds!!!

got use to the almond flavoring in the coating, but not my favorite jordan almonds. Still went quickly though.

We live in the US and bought these for our wedding in the US and our 2nd wedding in France. My husband is a native of France and said these are so much better than jordan almonds. We had the same compliments from those who attended both weddings. They are more expensive than jordan almonds, especially since they are imported from France, but we are very happy we paid the extra cost. We had no breakage problems and we bought them in 5 different colors.

These dragees are made in France with high quality ingredients. Maison Pecou's almonds are very fresh and tasty, and the candy coating is delicious and not so hard. Parfait! Warning: you can't stop eating them!

The best tasting Jordan type almonds. I tried the bulk almonds and they have too much sugar coating. I also purchased another more expensive brand but still preferred the taste of the Pecou almonds. You cannot stop snacking on them!

I always enjoyed the Jordon Almonds, but these almonds surpassed the flavor of the less expensive brand. The outer shell has a thin sweet coating with it's own unique flavor. I would recommend these as a party favor, however I buy these for myself.
