Memorex01961 CD/DVD Paper Sleeves (White, 100 Pack)

We had a 4' x 2' media stand in this corner full of 200+ DVDs (my husband's - I digitalized mine years ago!). The corner was so dark and cluttered-looking and I was looking for a way to condense his 'collection' without freaking him out (he's attached to old technology). Enter these sleeves!It took hardly any time to remove each DVD from the original case and slide it into a sleeve. I like that the front of each sleeve has a 'window' so each DVD is easily identifiable. In an effort to simplify my family room and declutter my shelves I decided to get rid of my CD and DVD cases and use sleeves instead. Initially it was a little sad to get rid of all my cases and I wondered if I was making the right decision, but I'm so happy and will never go back. I love these sleeves because I can write on them a little about the movie or CD I'm putting in there. I write the length on the back and sometimes a genre or song list. My daughter gets to decorate the paper sleeves for her movies, which she loves. They fit nicely in the storage case I purchased  Snap-N-Store SNS01658 Double Wide CD Storage Box (Black)  and take up about 1/50 of the space as my collection did before. The sleeves are just the right size, the CD fits snugly without being too tight. There's also a small U shaped perforation on the back that you can fit the flap into to keep it closed. They did come rubber banded like someone else mentioned, and a few of the outermost sleeves are a little bent from it. They straighten out when they have a disc in them, but they should work on their packaging. Otherwise, the price was great and the product is what it says.

I ordered September 1st and they arrived September 4th PM. I only needed 50 but for the price I purchased 100. I'm satisfied with the quality. They are better than the ones I purchased many moons ago.

They are reasonably priced, don't take up much room, are transparent so you can read the CD/DVD title without having to take then out of case.

I ordered this box of Memorex CD/DVD sleeves to contain the backup discs and movies and music CDs I burn on my computer. They make an excellent replacement for cheap jewel cases, which I used in the past, and obviously, sleeves take up less space.When I opened the box, I was somewhat annoyed by the tight rubber band that had deformed about half of the sleeves. All of them were still usable, but anyone would rather they were not damaged. I did read about this rubber band in several other reviews, so I was aware when I bought them that they could be damaged.As for quality, I cannot complain at all. These sleeves are made of good quality paper, and the plastic windows are sealed quite nicely. In the back of each is a little cutout to hold the flap closed.

These work great for my unique filing system for CD storage and protect the CDs sufficiently.

Unless your time is worth absolutely nothing, these are the most cost effective sleeves you're going to find. I've tried several other brands but either the paper is too thin (rips when you try to sleeve a CD, meaning you have to do it again), the flap isn't pre-folded over (more time wasted to fold it per CD), or other sleeve defects which require making per-sleeve corrections, all of which means it takes a lot more time to pack and ship orders.Because I spend less time per sleeve with these Memorex sleeves, they are, in effect, the best value that I have found yet.Another reviewer commented -- and posted a picture -- that because these sleeves are bound with a rubber band, six or eight sleeves per box are "ruined." I just ordered another ten boxes of these; when they arrive I will unpack them all, set aside the sleeves affected by the rubber bands, and press them for a week or two before putting them back in the "available for use" box. If this approach is unsatisfactory to you, you're forewarned. I wish Memorex would change this aspect of their packaging, but it's only a minor annoyance in my order fulfillment process.
