Thus tool has been so helpful. Good quality. Cuts my time in half to get weeds up. Also, I use it to transplant other plants. I would recommend it.

The best way to get rid of weeds on your lawn is to pull them out by their roots.I do have few weed puller/digger but they are all straight and it does take tolls on your hand to pull them out after a while. I thought having a curve design to leverage against the ground is a great idea since I have much larger weed killer that's designed in similar way but using a foot pedal.However, I was very disappointed when I put this to use because it turns out that the gap is just way too wide to pull out most roots. Many times, it simply slips out without pulling out the weed because it can't grip it due to the wide gap.WHAT I LIKE:[+] The curve design to leverage the floor for lifting the weed[+] PriceWHAT I DON'T LIKE:[-] The gap is too wide so it simply doesn't work as intended[-] The sides on the handle is open and it's uncomfortable so I had to wrap it with a soft gripBOTTOM LINE:2 out of 5 stars. I can't recommend this because it simply doesn't work well. It seems like a very good design but in reality, it doesn't work. Size perfect to carry around and use

well made - angle of metal is off for what I intended. Not a design flaw, just not what I was looking for

When the tool arrived, I examined it for sturdiness. The wooden handle is rounded and split in half where the metal end of the actual tool inserts into the wooden handle. One little "pin" holds it in place, and the "pin" does not go all the way through the handle, but just one side of the split part of the handle. This "design flaw" told me to get the Duck Tape out and secure the handle BEFORE attempting to use it with any great pressure. In a flower bed with loose garden soil, it might work fine, but in the yard, with heavy soil, trying to remove crab grass or any other typical yard weeds was quite a job. The tool is too short in length to be a good "ergonomic" tool, and I could not get deep enough with some weeds with the angled iron. I actually had/have better luck using an old serrated edge steak knife. Save your money and buy a good steak knife!

I like this gadget a lot but it has some shortcomings. The piece that has the fork should be longer - not necessarily the fork itself, the whole projection should be an inch or two longer. Likewise, the bent section should be another inch or two longer.Those changes would give better torque and keep your hand farther from the dirt. I love how easy it is to pull weeds with this tool. Don’t get me wrong you still have to reach down and after a day of pulling your back might still hurt, but it is WAY easier to get it done. The only thing I don’t like about it is the screws that keep the handle together are coming loose after a couple months of use.
