Good To Grip - Good Investment.
Ok - this phone is a little on the heavy side due to the case which is designed to make it shock proof. I needed shock proof as I have buggered hands and keep dropping things. This phone comes with the free addon of the case beinge easier to hold, it's less prone to slip from you hand and it has a nice level of heft. That lot makes it disability friendly. The only thing I would gripe about is the fingerprint reader which is not as repsonsive as I've seen before on other phones. Three maybe Four+ attempts before it kicks in. It can make for mild frustration. The Camera is sharp and reponsive and the screen does exactly what a screen needs to do. It also feels Firm and solid with no need to press as if it has a layer of jellied-plastic over it.I've thrown all sorts of data and apps at it without niggle. The inch of extra screen size makes a major difference with my favourite file manager "mixplorer" in landscape/double window mode. The addons and integration with multiple cloud drives makes for a nice little powerhouse in your pocket. I set it up to Sync 50 gig from a Mega drive expecting 24 hours. It was done in 6 hours. The processors/memory/Wifi all worked together far better than expected.I've never been a Phone addict, as most have felt less than solid in my fumblings hands. I'm more of a 10 inch+ tablet type than a squinting 5 inch phone user. This litte number may just get me to the phone addict threshold. I've even been on a 24 binge with heavy usage on battery with nonestop net access up and down. It got to 7% battery which was impressive.I can see this phone meeting y needs for some years to come - so a Good investment compared to many other Higher Branded options. When will the 5G model be out?

Good in every respect except the screen/digitiser failed after 18 months
A great shame about this phone: it still looked almost new after 18 months, glass unscratched, was reliably waterproof (even for taking underwater photos), shockproof, days of battery life and a good, fast processor on Android 9. Beautiful display too, but the touch responsiveness started to fail at around 18 months after purchase, and couldn't be fixed for less than the cost of the phone itself. I never knew when it would respond to touch & when it wouldn't, and eventually returned it to Amazon. It had a (rare) 2 year warranty and they offered a refund, which was good.I probably would get another Ulefone phone if I needed a really rugged phone as it was incredible spec for the price, and I may just have been unlucky. My advice, pick one of the ones with a long warranty just in case.

Good battery, good screen, and rugged "enough".
Bought to replace an earlier Ulefone Armor 2 I still have. That's a phone I will literally drop on concrete to demonstrate how indestructible it is, but it's rather heavy and bulky. This has most of the usable rugged features without the bulk and the annoyance of the rubber cover on the USB C charge port. (It still has a rubber cover on the USB C charge port, but wireless charging means I don't have to keep taking it out)In addition to adding wireless charging, there's a bigger screen, and thinner body. It is still waterproof, and still "rugged" but not dropping this one on concrete for shock factor. There's more battery life, and considerably more screen for the size of the phone, but you do lose the option of having two SIMs and a memory card installed at the same time.Did consider the similar 6S but didn't think I'd actually use the additional features. Not sure I prefer Android 9 over android 7, but I'll probably get used to it. Generally very happy with the phone.

Good phone overall, minor technical issues detract from being great.
Originally left a review on a different listing for the same item. I have updated my review here because after my one and software update, I have started to notice my Bluetooth was even less reliable than before and sometimes my phone stops receiving calls (I had no idea until I was told by the wife my phone was off when it wasn't), but this is resolved by restarting the phone, which I feel I have to do now every few days - this is heavily effects my review scores.I bought this December 2019 for about £200 after breaking the glass on my Samsung that cost me £600.It is a heavy phone but that is what you get off you want a rugged phone with a big battery.Typing this now late evening and I still have 39% battery left even though I have used it lots today. (Edit: 70% at 10pm with normal light use). It would last more than 24 hours with light use. Due to the ports having rubber blanks to keep out water and dust, I found using a wireless charger a good investment. Similarly I bought Bluetooth headphones.Performance is good on this phone. For the negatives, the camera is nowhere near as good as the Samsung S7, particularly in low light, but is adequate for happy snaps.I have also had some niggles with Bluetooth. Every few months I need to unpair the phone from my car stereo, and re-pair to get it to work. Similar for my headphones. Sometimes a reboot is enough though. If I were a heavy Bluetooth user this would really get to me, but I'm not...Finally, my single biggest issue with the phone is that the last security update on the phone when delivered was August 2019; and I have only had one update in 13 months. Given that Android push out updates every few weeks, this is concerning. From reading online, Ulefone don't have a good reputation for frequent updates, but have pushed them out at longer intervals.Overall, for the price I think the phone is good (would be great if I wasn't having the phone call and Bluetooth issues) and almost disposable in comparison to the high end brand £1000 ones. Overall, I would not go back to the high end Samsung or Apple phones again.
