The is the second one we ordered. The first one, from another company, claimed to fit, but the tow hood mounting rod would not fit through the metal bumper opening. This one appeared to be slimmer based on photos. It went right through and worked perfectly. It also doesn't stick out to far as other products appear to do based on reviews we read. As it only has one mounting point point for the tag bracket, it may eventually rotate, but for about $22.00, I can leave with that. The mounting rod was also black anodized metal, which looks nicer. This tag mount actually works for Audi S5 and is a good value for the money. There were no instructions, but if you need them, you probably shouldn't be taking on this project.

Wish the bolt was a bit longer. Had to bend mine a bit to keep from hitting the bumper. Still, very nice.

Well, I don't normally write reviews but I read them a lot. And I hesitated for months about buying this item because of all the bad comments about plate rotation and poor mounting design. My daughter got me a really cool German plate as a gift and it seemed a shame to just let it sit there on the shelf in the garage. So I finally pulled the trigger (March 2018). I have to say, I could understand the complaints about design if one was expecting the plate holder to stay in place with a single small bolt in the center. However, my experience doesn't show this to be the case. My plate came with a fairly large washer that installs inside the dimple and behind the bolt. If you reef down fairly hard on the bolt, it deforms the washer just enough (inside the dimple) that the plate stays in place (what would we do without friction?) I installed this on a 2015 A4. I have an hour commute of highway driving to work each day and let's just say that I drive to the posted speed limit. The plate has been on for over a month now - including some late Winter New England snow storms. The plate hasn't budged. Sure, you can grab it with both hands and twist it off-angle. After all, there's only one bolt holding it on. But the wind and the weather hasn't moved it. I recommend that you give this product a second look, take the design (one bolt) into consideration and tighten it down until the washer deforms a bit. Don't strip it, just tighten it down good and tight. Then sit back and enjoy your cool offset plate.

This was just terrible to be straight up.. It literally looks like garbage due to how far it sticks out from the car. I do not under why they don’t make the stub shorter so it could look decent and flushed. Even if you overcome the terrible look it sets off the parking sensors as well no matter which hole you put it through, (I tried the farthest one and it still goes off). The only way it won’t go off is if I tilt it sideways, oh btw it will definitely keep spinning if even the slightest pressure’s applied to it. Overall this is a quite a terrible product that could easily be modified and made better, but what else can you expect from some cheap company.

This is highly overpriced, but so are all comparable devices. The attachment method for the plate to the tow anchor could use some serious improvement. It's a simple screw and washer, and it is very difficult to get it tight enough so you feel confident it won't become loose and damage your paint. On my Audi B8 S4 with RS4 bumper/grill, it would not fit without hitting the paint. I bought a longer bolt and a few nuts to use as spacers, and a larger washer which fixed this problem for the most part. I still adjust it every couple weeks to make sure it is aligned. The metal quality of the backing plate is poor and deforms easily, but does bend back into place. If the company used just a slightly higher gauge aluminum combined with a longer bolt and more heavy duty washer it would be a huge improvement.Also, this thing essentially freely rotates due to the design of a single screw, thus requiring it to be very tight to prevent this. They could have solved this with some pretty basic engineering, but I'm sure this was to cut costs, oh well.Bottom line, it prevents me from getting tickets without damaging my bumper, and if you have minimal DIY skills this will work fine.

Needed a front plate for an Audi S5. I don't think center mounts look good, but this is fantastic. Installs easily, doesn't spin or move at highway speeds. If you have to have a front plate, this is a great way to go.

Has held up pretty well. No signs of loosening. It is definitely a good alternative to drilling holes on your bumper.

Very easy to install and looks great on my 14 audi a4. Had to get longer screws to attach my license plate cover to the mount but still good product.
