First time I've ever felt the need to write a review, this car was that bad. To be blunt - the car does nothing that it advertises it does. It couldn't even handle the grass on my lawn, and the battery ran out within 5 minutes.

Broke during first use. Very disappointed!

Awful experience. Car not as advertised. Very underpowered for it's size, and steering is totally unresponsive. It also looks like it was a refurbished product... I contacted seller for a refund, and was told that it was not their problem. Nice. Avoid this seller at all costs.

This is a 1:10 scale RC electric all-terrain truggy (combo truck and buggy). At 16.5" long, it's not a small RC car and that makes it impractical to use indoors.The Amazon description is wrong in a few places:1. It uses 4 AA batteries in the remote control, not a 9 volt battery and it does NOT come with them.2. It uses a 9.6 volt rechargeable battery pack, not a 6.4 volt, which is a big difference, making it more powerful, which is needed for this large vehicle. It comes with the battery pack and its charger. The battery pack must be removed to charge it.3. The product description also says the truggy goes 15mph but the manufacturer says 20 kph, which converts to 12mph.The front wheels are fairly wobbly. Steering it takes getting used to. You have to tap the control lever or it turns too much and you're off the road.It will drive out of places that a lot of other RC vehicles won't.One cool thing about it is you can download an app to a mobile device and then use that device to drive the truggy.For us, the battery pack lasted 15-20 minutes of driving time.NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

No interference with other RC toys on this car, so multiple people can use their RC cars together.All batteries are enclosed so it was easy to just install and go, and there was no delay for charging (or to run out and buy batteries). Included batteries are rechargeable too. We got over an hour on this before it needed charging.Features a wide base (which not all RC cars have: too tall ones in proportion usually flip over on their sides if you go uphill), lots of neat graphics and style details (tires, spoiler, etc).This isn't really a little kids RC car: I'd say 10 and up is more appropriate to understand how to adjust the front wheels, the remote control, etc. Also, the remote isn't something that can be dropped over and over so it needs a somewhat mature driver.We tried it on grass, dirt, gravel, asphalt, regular cement and even a wood deck. Worked great and the tires grip even on turns at high speed. It did annoy our pets a bit, it's not a quiet car but no RC cars that I know of are quiet. My son drove it up and down dirt hills (about 3' high) and it never got stuck or bogged down. It was hard for him to control at first (he's almost 8) but his big brother showed him the details.Everything is sturdy, even after several long drives around the yard out in the country: nothing came lose or damaged despite a few high speed crashes.Rec'd sample by manufacturer for review consideration.

This no longer works! Purchased this for a 12yr for Christmas 2014. The battery that comes with this car is worthless, lasted about 6 minutes. We purchased a higher capacity battery pack on Amazon and was able to get about 15 minutes per charge for a few charges but now the rear wheels (the drive wheels) will not spin rendering the car useless. Don't waste your money on this. You can get a much cheaper rc car that will last twice as long!

Fully charged battery lasts 10 minutes of driving. Even though this was purchased in December we decided to give this as a birthday gift March 30th. The car has been used 3 times and all 3 times the battery lasts 10 minutes. Is this a battery issue? Or is this to be expected?
