LOVE the patterns on this halter. Bought the quick release leather kit by Weaver for an additional 9 bucks (three in the package) to make this a breakaway halter. I’ve only had it for a day and the other boarders at my farm have complimented it several times already. I bought the average for my 16hh Standardbred mare, it’s a little on the small side (I mostly have it on the last hole settings) but I feel like the large horse size might’ve been too big. Time will tell for the durability of the pattern, but Weaver halters are generally long lasting. Either way I love it!

Weaver makes a great halter for the price. The colors are bright, vivid, and crisp. The pattern itself is a little blurred but only up close and not so bad as to be a distraction or negative point. I have gotten so many compliments on this halter! Very unique and beautiful!!! Great quality and the hardware is sturdy. My horse has a rather large head for a Quarter horse/ Mustang cross and the average size fits him comfortably. Weaver is a great brand that I trust.

I expected this halter to hold up like any other Weaver halter I’ve purchased in the past. I wanted a nice looking halter so I paid extra for the pattern. Fast forward 1 month of it being outside in the sun off and on and it’s faded so bad the black nylon looks red. After 7 months it’s starting to fray and looks absolutely terrible. This isn’t even used on a daily basis at all. So buy it if you’ll use it sparingly and will keep it inside away from the elements at all times.

It is just fine. Only reason for 4 stars is that I have a pretty average 15.3hh thoroughbred with an average head. This is almost too small for him - we are out on all the last holes. He is not remotely stocky or large-boned and his head is more refined than some TBs. The serape color stands out in the crowd in the tack room among the other halters.

The brass parts are very strong and sturdy, stiching is done very well and sewn very secure. The colors are bright and look fantastic. The halter is soft and not stiff at all. My 2 year old colt has been hard to catch recently. I got this new halter and he was in my pocket easy to catch so I think he gives it 5 stars too. I am very happy with the quality. It fits him perfect and I love that we can adjust it to fit.

Adjustable on the head and myzzle. I have a beautiful AQHA with a babydoll head I bought cob size (small) and it fits beautifully. The colors are vibrant and so pretty! I'm spraying with scotch guard because people say it fades quickly. I do not leave halters on my horses for ling periods so it likely won't be a big issue.

I had problems locating my package and Blaine at Tack Shack was very helpful and responded quickly to my inquiry. Even when it ended up being my front office's fault, they were very gracious and kind!The halter is wonderful quality. Feels nice, easy to put on and adjust. The clip is sturdy and durable. Would recommend!

Warum das Weaver Halfter mit Lederhalfter beworben wird, ist mir ein Rätsel! An diesem "Lederhalfter" ist kein Schnipsel Leder dran! Allerdings ist das ganze Halfter so recht hübsch, weshalb ist doch vier Sterne von mir gibt.

I find the halter to be on the thinner side compared to a traditional nylon halter. It looks like the picture. It looks great on my dunskin ☺️
