This did help train my kitten not to walk on or jump up on areas that are unsafe for her to be. It wasn't pleasant for her to figure out that area was pokey... but she knows better than to jump up on the areas where the mats are.Also, they're very east to cut to length or shape.

My adorable dog would sit on the couch while we were away at work. Would never had known with adding our pet cam. We added these and she never attempted to climb on again. Well worth the purchase.

It doesn't deter my cat near as much as I'd like. How he walks on those, I have no idea, but he does. I'd recommend the sticky film that I also purchased. Sticks to the screen and that at least stops him from damaging anything. It's very durable and I haven't had to replace it in over 2 months. Maybe the pokies keep him away from it sometimes but not all the time.

Avoid purchasing this item for your pets, despite any positive reviews you may have encountered. They are far from humane in their design. My initial expectations were for a pet-friendly product, perhaps made of soft rubber or featuring rounded tips to ensure safety. However, I was sorely disappointed when I discovered that they are constructed from rigid plastic with exceptionally sharp points.Even handling these cones while they were still in their packaging resulted in an injury, as one of the cones punctured my finger with ease. Now, envision the consequences of a pet, be it a cat or a dog, leaping onto these unforgiving cones. Considering the weight of a fully grown cat or even a puppy, the risk of them injuring their paw pads is alarmingly high.Furthermore, picture a scenario where your beloved pet jumps onto these cones, suffers a foot injury, loses balance, and topples over. The sheer force of their body weight could potentially cause these razor-sharp cones to penetrate their delicate sides or bellies, leading to severe harm.If you genuinely care for your pet's well-being and safety, I strongly advise against purchasing these items. They pose a significant threat to your pet's health and are far from a humane choice.

It’s easily cut to size for whatever you need.

I gave it a three-star because I was a little up in the air about how many stars I should give it due to the fact that this product is extremely sharp. I ended up stabbing myself with a spike while I was trying to cut it to the size I needed it and not only did it hurt pretty bad it also bled for an hour. So I guess what it was up in the air about is yes the product does its job because if I was a cat there is no way I'd jump on that more than once however my cat did jump on it and I know it hurt and I felt really bad about it and she spent the rest of the day not speaking to me lol. However she has not even tried to jump in the area that I placed them again which was behind my TV. I hope this review was helpful I don't want anyone else's fur babies to get hurt.

I read a lot of reviews on various listings and realized a few things…1. The exact same products (at least appearance wise) are listed under multiple brands2. There is a big price differential in those brands for what seems to be the exact same product3. Reviews can sometimes use a little more detail besides “didn’t work”So, we settled on these.Pictures are accurate. The sheets are very flexible and were easily cut to arrange them around our outside plants.The spikes are hard and don’t bend. Great quality.Spikes are approximately 1/2” + which we found very helpfulThey keep our dogs away from our plants and off of our furniture.I CAN’T imagine any animal being able to walk on these or lay on them. Those spikes are hard!A suggestion for furniture, though. If you think they are going to stay where you put them…think again :) Our dogs quickly learned how to push them out of their way. We found them all pushed into the corner of the couch when we first tried them. A little two faced tape to hold them in place for a few days fixed that problem. We left the tape on for about four day to let the dogs realize they couldn’t move them and, therefore, couldn’t just swat them away. Once we removed the tape and left the plastic sheets on the couch they didn’t want to gamble and now stay off the furniture entirely. Also, we had to cover the entire seating area with them at first. They quickly figured out how to find the spots that weren’t covered with the spikes and would walk on those areas to get to the top of the couch to perch. A few days of the whole seating area covered and then gradual spacing left us with only three of them on the couch and the dogs stay away.Super happy with them!

Our cat likes to sleep on our patio furniture. He likes to switch it up and use all of the seats leaving behind mounds of fur. So, before I can sit down, I have to use a lint roller. Frustrating! These plastic spikey boards are great and do exactly what they are meant to do…our cat now sleeps elsewhere. We tuck them under the back cushion so they don’t blow away. They came with little button locking mechanisms to hold them together, but definitely not needed. 1 on each cushion & 3 laid together across a loveseat does the trick. They do wilt a little and bubble up some do to extreme hot temps, but it doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the product. You would not want to accidentally sit down…yikes, it would hurt. Simply move it, tuck under your cushion, and replace when you are done occupying the space. Highly recommend. It comes with 8 squares.
