NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Sweet Cheeks Shimmer Blush, Silence Is Golden

Right away I will tell you that the color (Red Riot) doesn't look like the deep, red wine sort of color that the photo suggests. I haven't worn it yet but I was immediately disappointed that the color was not the deep vibrant red that it appeared to be in the advertisement. I will update this review after I've had a chance to actually wear it.

People, I was super excited to try this color....but instead, it made my face HURT! My educated guess is its the cheapo 3rd ingredient, ethylhexyl palmitate, a known skin irritant, which I typically avoid. I gave NYX a chance to prove me wrong because contour powders for pale yellow olive ppl is hard to find...so VERY SAD. The compact was completely shattered when I opened it, with powder even covering the outside of the container.

This color would be great for all skin tones. Its a berry, don't judge it on what the condensed pan looks like. If your fair like me sweep and tap ightly. It just melts into your skin. I haven't been impressed by many of the drug store formulas as of lately.This formula also comes in a slight glow formula. Which also performs wonderfully, I'm a little to old for glows, thankfully the colors are equal what comes in glow also comes it matte. I would probably order this again.

This works a treat as a bronzer or contour for cool toned people.

This is the perfect contour color for fair skin!I’ve searched for years, tried EVERY product made and then found this! I’m writing a review because I hope that it will become such a high selling product that NYX never stops making it! I purchased 3 of them just incase and at this price, that just makes sense! Such a great value for money but I would still buy it if it cost as much as the high end brands. It’s perfect.I can see that it could be a pretty blush color for dark skin but if you’re fair skinned you’ll love this! Spread the word!

If you have an olive/green tinge to your skin I think you’ll love the shade “fig.” I never quite liked blush because I have a yellow/green undertone and the peachy or peachy pink tones constantly recommended for yellow skin always looked orange but the blue based stuff always looks gaudy on my skin, significantly more pink and not as natural looking compared to people with a pink undertone. This shade I would say is like a medium dark mauve type of pink compared to my skin. Like a muted blue based pink. On my skin it just looks so much more realistic compared to other pinks and doesn’t look “off.” The deeper pink prevents it from looking for harsh and the purple undertone prevents it from looking orange on the skin.I’m not sure the formula is a chalky matte, I would say it’s more of a natural matte. I notice when I swatch it, the blush has a slight slight sheen to it. It’s not glittery or shimmery, it just adds a touch of a that satin finish so that it doesn’t look a chalky matte. It blends beautifully. Lasts all day for me. I highly recommend it.

The red riot color is not an accurate depiction of what you will get. The actual color is a cross between fig and bang bang. It's more mauve than it is that deep red-ish color. I was a little disappointed because I already have blush that color and was looking forward to receiving and using the deeper colored blush but alas that is not what you will get. I am usually a fan of these blushes but NOT this one. If you are looking for a deep colored blush look somewhere else. Sorry.

Es un color súper lindo, en mi piel (morena) se ve muy bien y es muy fácil de aplicar. La relación calidad-precio sí lo vale, además de que me llegó súper rápido. Lo único malo es que después de aplicar la rutina completa (primer, base, y setting spray) no dura tanto. El color se va rápido pero se ve que tienes "algo" ahí. Lo volvería a comprar, porque el color de verdad está increíble.

El producto es muy bueno, he comprado high-end y no le pide nada a esos. Muy pigmentado, glowy y lindo. Debes tener mano suave al aplicarlo. Al producto le doy diez estrellas al empaquetado para envío una y a Dios el resto. Se están empaquetando polvos, paletas de sombras, etc. debe capacitarse a quienes empacan y hacer hincapié en que son muy frágiles. Había leído que a varias personas les llegó quebrado, etc. Creo que me encomendé mucho y llegó completo, a pesar de solo estar dentro de un sobre con burbuja; sin envoltura especial, es más ni una bolsa y llegó bien.

Desafortunadamente no vino empacado apropiadamente (solo dentro de una caja sin plástico burbuja o algo que lo protegiera de los múltiples golpes que seguro recibe mientras es trasladado) y obviamente llegó quebrado.No entiendo la visión de quién lo empaca; ahorra en protección para recibir la devolución de UN producto dañado? es una lástima.Enviaron el reemplazo de este producto y nuevamente llegó roto... Me doy por vencida es desilucionante que no envuelvan correctamente un producto de este tipo 😔.

The colour is gorgeous, the formulation is creamy and it lasts all day with a good setting spray +doesn’t move around. My only quarrel with this is that it is definitely not mask proof/pandemic proof and will come off on the edges where your mask touch if it is tight to your face. Besides that this is insanely good, especially for the price.
