Works well, is bright, stay cool and use less power

These lights are exactly what I was looking for! We had custom built cabinets made for both sides of our fireplace with glass shelves in the upper part. These lights were easy to install with the quick disconnect 12" up from the light I only had to drill a hole, poke the connect through and reconnect. Three small screws attached the light to the top of the cabinet. Lights dim perfectly with the recommended dimmer switch.

I bought 2 sets of these (and 1 single) to serve as under cabinet lighting for a kitchen remodel. Since the cabinets were out, I cut a channel in the wall around the kitchen and ran romex from a switch to all the outlet boxes so I did not have to find creative ways to have all the lights connected. The lights give off a nice light and only get warm to the touch. I took off a star for the delay when they turn on (about half a second), some of the light covers don't feel tight (but they will probably never be touched) and the wires in the 3 pack that go between the lights would have been too short if I had needed to run them that way. If you have long runs, you might consider buying a few singles and splice them together instead of this 3-pack.

Perfect dropin replacement for a halogen fixture. It does hesitate to start when you flip the switch, which I think is a feature of a number of LED lights, these days. It is brighter than the halogen that it replaced, but generates MUCH less heat. If I could find replacement LED bulbs to fit into the halogen sockets, I would do that for the other two fixtures I have like this.

Works great, looks greatHave to change to 1 star. One of the lights I purchased went out already after only 3 weeks. I contacted the seller and they asked if I cut the wire. I said yes so I could splice in to existing wiring. I was told that voids the warranty. The only reason I bought these was because in the FAQs it says, from the seller, that you can cut and splice in to existing wiring.

Cool to the touch, twice as much light, easy of installation an exellent buy.
