We have a terrier who throws himself at the back door when he sees cats/squirrels, so we got this to protect the timber door frame and glass. We had to cut it down a bit for the right fit, and used the sticky dots supplied to stick it to the door. I don’t think it’ll be easy to get off for cleaning so it’s a semi permanent fixture now. The dog still throws himself at the door, but so far the shield has held up and hasn’t been damaged.

Perfect for the job. Despite some of the other reviews, mine came with clear adhesive pads.

Is a good product. I don't give it 5 stars as the adhesive falls off with time, although is an easy fix using a good quality double sided tape like Gorilla.

The product is exactly what it purports to be - a plastic protective sheet to be applied to a surface-like a door -that needs protection from scratching.It was easy to attach although I used velcro picture hanging strips in each of the four corners rather than the velcro buttons/disks supplied and attaches firmly.I cannot say whether the velcro buttons supplied are strong enough or too adhesive so likely to cause a problem in case of removal.I can see that a pet may manage to inset its claws around the edges of the sheet and pull it away but that is not a product fault. If you require certain protection you would have to effectively glue the covering to the door or cover the whole door- both of which solutions most people would not want to do.I am happy with the product.

I do think this is a great product, slightly pricey but the problem I have with it are the sticky pads for adhering to the wall. They don't stay stuck for very long! Would have been nice if they could have been 'clear' rather than to the white and black pads but on the whole I'm very happy with the product

I installed this on my wall next to the front door as the dog destroyed the last wallpaper. It went up easily and seems to hold well. Dog hasn't jumped up yet so can't say how well it'll hold up but it feels very secure. My dog is medium size 13kg and I think the size of this screen is probably about right for her reach. You can hardly see the screen on the wall. Price wise I think this is reasonable compared to other similar products. I know that we'll probably rip the wallpaper if we take the adhesive velcro bits off but we intend to keep the screen up anyway so this isn't really an issue. The velcros came in white and black which is useful depending on the colour of your wall/door.

The ultra clear low profile adhesives are in fact black or white sticky Velcro pads, which came partly detached from their backings and so stuck to inside of the packaging. Rather a lot of money for two sheets of plastic, and it is plastic no matter what they may comment back to this comment, and a bunch of very visible sticky pads. Sadly for us not fit for purpose.

A handy little remedy to stop my dogs scratching the paint work on my doors .... easy to cut and attach the velcro so far no complaints.
