Im not sure why ppl dont like these. My sister in law sold me on this product. Every time I vacuumed it reaked of vomit. I cleaned out my filters and added these bad boys and holy cow. 100000% difference. Its a nice, fresh sent. Like, whaaattt! Reminds me of a light pine sol smell. I was going to chuck my vacuum cleaner, but it works well.

I love these vacuum beads! They work well at reducing the odors from your vacuum. I think we all know how that goes. Where even after cleaning them out and whatnot, sometimes they just have a smell that refuses to go away. The bead format I find works really well too. It helps to actually distribute the scent around the vacuum. That said, the scent is just a sort of a fresh, clean, citrusy type. It's not overpowered at all and because it's beads, you can adjust as you need. You can alwyas start with a little and add more later if you prefer. These are also safer for your machine. An old trick you could do was to suck up a small cotton ball with a little essential oil on it. The problem is, essential oils can be messy, eat plastic and degrade them by themselves, and cause dirty to stick inside too. These beads help prevent damage to your machine without any worry of stickiness or clogging too. These beads will also last a long time. I actually use them for long term storage and use. I have several vacuum, each for different usages, and sometimes they sit for a bit when I'm busy. A small cap of these inside the bag or tank keep them fresh and smelling good in-between uses. These are also essential for robot vacuums! I don't change my bag on my robot for a couple months and they always start to stick. Once a month I put in a small cap of beads and it keeps it from smelling terrible! So why one star off? My only complaint is I wish they were a little cheaper, OR the bottle was just a bit bigger for the same price. If you need to vacuum frequently, you may go through them a bit faster, especially with a bagless machine. Otherwise they are great!

The jury is still out as to whether this product is great, mediocre, or in the trash. Even with new filters and bags, there was still a stale odor coming from my fairly new bagged vacuum cleaner - I presume it is from pet hair - so I purchased these odor eliminating beads. At first smell from the bottle, I did not find it pleasant at all - there was a faint odor of moth balls. And that is the last thing I would want in my home, since once that smell gets in things it is difficult to get out. But the description mentions there is only natural spices, etc. - I did not smell any 'notes' of those things...it smells like chemicals. But I gave it a try. It isn't bad and there were no lingering scents - so I'm not sure it really gets in the air. That is good - I only wanted it to deodorize the bag and vacuum. For that I gave it 4 stars. If it keeps my vacuum bags odor free between discards, that will excellent and I'll change it to 5 stars.

I have been using this in my canister vacuum for years and it really helps with the "dog" smell. I have tried powders to sprinkle on carpet, however found them messy and too strong smelling. Plus not sure the powder on carpet is good for pets. Highly recommend.

Everyone needs this! It removed the odor from both of my vacuums after the second time I used it - very simple - fill the lid of container with beads and dump into vacuum canister - it has a nice clean scent - not overpowering -

I would say these function pretty well over all and as advertised. They last a long time. a capful of beads goes a long way. I'd say 2-3 weeks or more vacuuming the full house once a week with some spot vacuuming here and there in between. The big reason for only giving this 3 stars is that they really don't smell very good. The name tells you nothing about what the odor might be like (who knows what "Fresh Wave" means). I like the idea that these beads are supposed to be made from natural ingredients, but the smell actually leans pretty heavy toward the chemical side in my opinion. It reminds me of something menthol based like vapo-rub or old Noxzema products. My wife doesn't like it much at all. It's tolerable to me. I don't hate it, but I also don't think it's very good. It does smell better than the plain air out of an older vacuum cleaner though in my opinion. We were motivated to try something like this because we vacuumed up a dead centipede that must have used odor as a defense because it made our vacuum smell awful. No amount of bag changes, cleaning what we could reach, or running it seemed to help, even weeks later. Adding these has helped over time, though it took about 2-3 times of adding them over a couple weeks to finally overtake the odor. So I can say if you have a similar issue they do seem to work for that eventually. At the rate we use them it will take a long time to go through both bottles. Once we do we'll definitely be looking for something with a better smell. I wish they made these with a clean lemon or citrus odor instead. Out of what I could find so far they seem to be the easiest and most effective all purpose option out there.

Perfect for pet owners. Dog smell builds up in vacum and these beads kill it. Nice to have a pleasant smell while vacuuming

The product arrived on time and works as advertised it has a pleasant pine smell and works great. I would buy this again.

You know how you get a stale musty smell in the garage when you use the central vac? We use these crystals in our central vac, our upright and two hand held. They are very effective and leave a fresh odor. It's amazing how a small capfull works for weeks. :)

I use this sparingly in my canister, upright and handheld vacuums. I like that it helps keep the units fresher particularly the bagless upright and handheld vacuums. I wish the scent was more of a natural scent but it’s the only product I’ve found for this purpose. I’ve purchased it for over a decade now.

I use this in my Dyson and it makes a huge difference. Smells amazing.
