... of my sons are swimmers and they have been pretty fond of the Speedo Vanquisher 2
Both of my sons are swimmers and they have been pretty fond of the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 for the past few years (I've probably bought 10 pairs by now) but this last pair broke about 10 minutes into practice. The plastic where the nose piece connects to the goggle just snapped and broke completely leaving them absolutely useless. My son was pretty mad because he had to finish the next 90 minutes with no goggles. I was not able to return them for some reason but after explaining what happened Amazon issued me a full refund. 3 stars for Speedo and 5 stars for Amazon.

Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Mirrored Swim Goggles
Pros- Keeps water out pretty well. To this day, I have not yet needed to stop mid laps to dump any water out that has made it's way past the sealed suction.- I have not experienced any issues with fogging of the lenses during laps either.- Comes with extra nose clips for those with larger or smaller bridges.- Easy to adjust.Cons- These goggles are mirrored, not clear, which means that you vision will be altered some. This is not usually a big deal but if the pool you are swimming at is not very well lit, your vision will be much "smokier." As for triathletes and open water swimmers, I would advise against these completely. Any sun that hits these bad boys will make it so that you cannot see anything.- The nose bridge does hurt a bit, even after swapping out for different sizes. Either I have an abnormal nose, or these bridges do dig in to your nose just a little too much. It is not extremely painful or noticeable when you first put them on but by the end of your workout, you will feel a noticeable stinging in the area.ConclusionWhile these goggles are definitely pretty good (I don't think I've ever experienced a Speedo product that wasn't), there are definitely better choices out there, especially for open water swimmers. The mirror lens is a cool attempt at making your goggles a bit more stylish, but the attempt at more style has forsaken a bit of the practicability. Do not be mistaken though. If you are a competitive indoor swimmer or just a normal leisure swimmer who swims for exercise, these will do just fine, as long as the pool you swim at is moderately lit. All in all, definitely consider these when you make your final decision, as they are still very good goggles.

WAY TOO DARK
I guess I like the goggles well enough, but someone should highlight these are suitable for welding as well. They are way too dark.I feel like they are even darker than my sunglasses. If I ever wanted to blindfold someone, I'd just give them these. If I were at the pool and a crime was committed I couldn't honestly testify about anything I saw. I'd just have to say, there were darkness, and in the darkness, there was more darkness.Batman probably uses these to hone his echolocation skills.

Comfortable for long swims
Well I normally wear a speed socket model goggle for racing, these goggles are much more padded around the eye socket and are comfortable for longer swims without rubbing your eyes as much. The only compromise there is that they don't adhere to your face quite as well on a entry or start dive. After more than 2,000 hours in the pool, these goggles are still holding up great! Making sure to dry them off and keep him in there and they gobble pouch will further prolong your life as it prevents any dry rotted deterioration of the gasket.

Great sealing, durable goggles
These goggles have the best suction of any I have tried and are more durable. The eye cup part is a very rubbery durable material. The more plastic like eye cups don't seal as well and seem to crack after a season. My old pair of these is 3 years old, still works fine, colors just got faded. Mine are not too dark. Looking at the pictures it seems like the tinting is different for different color goggles. My gray goggles with silver tint have the perfect amount of tint. I wonder if some of the black tinted ones aren't the ones that are too dark. I will definitely buy again for myself and my kids. Oh, one final note. If you have a very big head, big enough one of those one size fits all snap ball caps doesn't fit, these may be too small. I have a big head, can typically do 2 or 3 snaps on a one size fits all ball cap and these fit, but they are at the maximum size.

Just disappointed that the straps broke before he even used the ...
Received the goggles yesterday. Son used them for swim practice this AM and as he was tightening the straps, they broke. Thankfully we had bungee cord strap on hand so that he could use them right away. Son likes them as he swims in an outdoor pool and there is a lot of sun glare/reflection. Just disappointed that the straps broke before he even used the goggles. Highly recommended but having an extra cord handy or it would be important to include in the packaging as well.

Decent product for the price.
I picked these up as my daily swimming goggles. They fit well, it comes with extra nose bridges of varying lengths. As expected, the factory applied anti-fog solution wears out in a couple of sessions. You'll want to get a bottle of Speedo Anti-Fog Goggle Solution, White, 2.5oz -- or something similar. The linked product works as expected. The overall front visibility is decent, the peripheral view is not great, but that doesn't really matter all that much when swimming. As long as you can see the lane strip at the bottom of your lane, it's fine. They do leak ever so little, which is normal. With some experimentation with adjusting the strap length you can minimize the leaks. These sit reasonably comfortable on your face.Overall, the price is right, fit is decent, and visibility is fine for the intended use. I would recommend these goggles.

Amazon not an authorized seller according to Speedo
Bought 3 of these for my grandchildren for competition. First meet, two of them broke by the nose strap area. We are left with 1 unused one. Of course, my poor grandchild (See actual event photo) lost that race. We could not return to Amazon because we sent these goggles internationally hoping to depend on a Speedo brand. Reached out to Speedo hoping for a resolution but said, since Amazon is not an authorized seller, that they cannot do anything. What a waste of time, effort, and money. Horrible experience!!

Nice goggles; Smaller fit around eye
Good fit--Looks nice. Seeing clear around tinted circle lens takes some getting used to. Wish outer ring of lens was also tinted.

Terrible design
After adjusting the nose piece it became so loose that the goggles fell off of my sons face twice during a swim meet. Terrible design.

Best brand for elite (& other) swimmers
The only brand & only style my swimmer will wear & has for the past 5 years. We’ve tried others & they just don’t work the same for her as Speedo Vanquishers do.

too dark
It is too dark, I almost could not see anything under the water. I would expect it to be brighter a little bit. The quality is good though.
