Yes, it does! I used mine to punch holes in my petite planners and also some of my covers.

Can you remove a punch head?

No. Not unless you want to saw through the rivets/hinges that hold the punch together. Also, this unit features 2 moveable punch heads comprised of 3 punches each. The spacing between these 3 holes is not adjustable.

Will this work for 4x6 index cards? I want to make a binder for them and plan on using binder rings

No, it will not work smoothly, you would have figure how to center the index card in the device. It would make six holes on the index card.

Great punch for Suvie Robot Receipe cards to place in a day planner binder

Handy little punch for dayplanners, and doesn't take up space. Right size for the job. I bought a Suvie Robot, it has these little receipe/instruction cards for each of the meals. The cards have a little sticker with the element needed for the oven to program the meal. (you can manually program, but the cards are much faster.). I kept a set of each meal cards, and figured they'd fit a day-planner binder perfectly. I bought this little unit to punch those cards! I was well priced, it appears to be sturdy, and works well. The holes are exactly on target for accurate punches.

Substantially constucted...looks better in real life than it did in the photos

I think this is a dandy little hole punch. There were a few different models available on Amazon and I guess I was hesitant to get this one because it was the cheapest. However it is a well manufactured piece of equipment and will last a long time. The adjustment to slide the holes for different paper profiles works very smoothly and it 'clicks' into place nicely. My only (minor) gripe is that the slot for inserting the sheets seems rather narrow and you have aim carefully when you slide them in. (I suppose that might have been made purposely to prevent you from overloading the punch dies perhaps?) In any case, I am very please with the unit.

It punches 6 holes perfectly

Went from a Bullet Journal to a 6 hole binder, so re-using blank pages and needed an A5 sized 6 hole punch, this got rave reviews, it's cheap, so why not.It took a bit of figuring out how to adjust the page stop and that you also have to slide the punch holes to the right (a5) size, but after that, easy peasy.It only punches a few pages at a time (but honestly, there's something calming and therapeutic about punching holes in paper) but each time, perfect holes.It has a firm rubber bottom that you remove to dump out the holes (tip: do it over a big trash can, they tend to fly everywhere), and then also be sure to double check the page stop because it can move willy nilly without you realizing it.Exactly what i needed!
