Royal Brush Essentials Art Sketching and Drawing Artist Set for Beginners, Multicolor, 32 Pieces (1 Pack)

I got this for my 12 year old son and he loves it. The wooden figure makes it nice for him to learn how to draw different poses and positions when drawing people. The pencils are kind of hard to draw with, but they are great to color with; he likes to use a pencil to do the drawing first then fill in with colored pencils. The sharpener works great too, better than most of the portable ones we have around the house. The case is sturdy and holds everything in place when being carried; the ruler does not stay in place but that's is okay. The eraser works pretty good on the pencils that came with it but he has not tried using any other pencil with the eraser. Overall it was a good buy and a great gift for a beginner drawer.

Colored pencils, the little mannequin dude, the normal pencils, sharpener, eraser, and etc. are all of good quality. I love them so far, very useful. My only gripe is the box and inner workings. The screws stick out about 3/4 of an inch, which isn't too attractive, and aren't in straight but rather at angles. The box smells freshly painted, its made out of that kind of wood cheap furniture is made out of. The hand and clamps are nicely done, just the hinges are bad. Inside holdings where all the materials fit at KIND OF glued in there. Some parts more than others. They're a real cheap plastic that morphs if you press a pencil in too hard.Overall great for the price, but the box could use some work.

The case for this art set is really nice and holds everything into place very well. All the art supplies are nice quality. But the little booklet that comes with it didn't really explain beginning art very well. There were a few tools in it that if you didn't know what they were the booklet would not have explained it and you wouldn't even know what to do with it. But I did buy this for my son who is 11 and he is very happy with it and uses the set frequently. The case has survived being dropped and dragged around for several months.

Got this as a gift for my nephew. He is very happy with the set. So I’m glad. I however wish I had read the dimensions in the discription. I had a set like this when I was little and I was expecting something like that. This set is like half the size. But I’m happy that he’s happy. I was just shocked and disappointed in the size when it came in the mail.

Great beginners kit for the budding artist. Has everything kne would need for drawing. The pencils, charcoal pencils and colored pencils are by no means professional quality but would work great for someone just wanting to lesrn to draw without spending a ton of money.The only complaint I do have is that some of the pencils would habe broken lead inside. No matter how much you sharpened them the lead would break off when you started to use it. Sharpening was done with a quality electric pencil sharpener. I harpened other pencils in it without issue.

This was perfect for my almost 8 year old daughter who has recently shown an interest in art and drawing. She loves having all of the supplies in her own little case. The plastic parts inside the case that hold the pencils came unglued and it no longer stays put. Also, one of the hinges came off - so the case is pretty much useless now. The little manequin stand is off center or something and does not stay up. I wish it could be removed from the rod so that you could have it sitting, etc. The pencils seem to be of okay quality. Not the best quality, but definitely okay.If you are giving this as a gift, it does come with a mini sketch pad that fits inside the case, but you might consider buying a larger sketch pad to go along with it.

My daughter has been wanting to learn how to draw. I love this kit because it has a little bit of everything: pencils, colored pencils, paper, and instructions. She loves the little wood model. I bought this for her along with a book on beginning drawing. She is excited and feels like a real artist with her fancy wood box full of art supplies. I would definitely recommend it for a beginning artist who wants to try out sketching.

I bought this as a starter art set for my daughter. We we're both amazed at what is included with this kit.everything is real great quality. My daughter loved the modeling doll, it's really helped her with reference points and positions when drawing her anime characters in different poses. I do recommend being careful as that is the only thing in that kit that feels and looks cheap but as long as you're careful with it it works and not last a good while.

This is a very useful kit for people new to sketching in pencils, in graphite and colour. The little figure is quite useful too. The only thing I would add is that the drawing pad needs to have more sheets, though I’m not sure how you would be able to include it if it were thicker. It’s a nice kit thank you.

Nicely packaged - instructions not very good for first timers about each piece in the set. You get to know about the thickness of each pencil but for a young child I felt it could have a little more explanation. Overall though happy with purchase.

Ordered this as a Christmas present for a 13 year old girl. She is heavily into sketching/painting and this was perfect. It is presented in a hard-case with sections for brushes, pencils etc. Perfect gift at a reasonable price. It arrived very quickly and is good quality. Would repurchase and recommend.

Wie es die Artikelbeschreibung schon sagt ein Set für Anfänger alles dabei was man für seine ersten Zeichnungen braucht."Die beigelegten Spitzer sind absoluter Schrott und für nichts geeignet. Die Boxeinsätze fallen heraus und die Bleiststifte sind schwer bzw. gar nicht zu entnehmen. "Dem kann ich bedingt zustimmen sobald man den Koffer öffnet hört man schon das einem der obenliegende Einsatz entgegen kommt also schnell aufmachen :) Einige Stifte sind in der Tat schwer herauszubekommen, aber wenn man vorne auf die Spitze drückt kommen sie alle hinten weit genug hoch das man sich herrausnehmen kann. Der Spitzer is wirklich nichts besonderes, aber man sollte sich hier bewusst sein und das sagt einem eigentlich auch der logische Menschenverstand das man hier für 20€ kein Wunderwerk erwarten kann. Wenn man so hohe Ansprüche stellt wie der Herr den ich zitiert habe sollte man bedenken das man sich auch von Farber Castel ein Zeichenset kaufen kann da Zahlt man halt das Doppelte für die Hälfte der Ausstattung, aber das sollte jeder selber einschätzen können für was er das ganze braucht.Meine Schwester jedenfalls freut sich und zum Geburtstag gibts dann auch was "hochwertigeres" :)Edit: Was ich noch vergessen habe die Puppe is ziemlicher Misst in den Gelenken sind Federn eingearbeitet so dass die Puppe nicht in der Pose bleibt in der man sie gerne hätte aber wie schon erwähnt für den Anfang und den Preis is das OK
