I got these to try. I have always been partial to the Dream Seams. I look for ones that i think my pitcher will like. When these came in, I handed one to my pitcher, and.to my "softball whisperer" to see what.he thought. He really liked them. They feel good and have a real nice seam for my pitcher. We are just starting our season, so I may come back later if there are any problems. 12" good quality softballs are a bit pricey, but I was always taught that you get what you pay for. I forgot have a random Thunder Heat in my bucket I've had for a few seasons now and even though you can see it's age, it is still in relatively good shape. It's also nice that my team's name is Thunder. Lol

Great for middle schools softball games providing strength and durability with ever strike

These are good quality softballs that I purchased for my daughter to practice pitching and practice hitting at home. She does keep them in a softball bucket and she places the bucket in a dry area when she is not hitting these softballs to keep them out of the elements the quality of these balls for the money is very good and I would not hesitate to re-purchase these softballs. The durability of these softballs are very good. They are holding up very well. She normally hits 150 to 200 balls a day and I bought two dozen initially so they’ve been getting a lot of use and they’re holding up well.

The quality vs. price for these balls are perfect. We hosted a Halloween tournament and went through 2 cases of these balls and they were great. Very nice grip for pitchers too.

If you are specifically shopping for 12" leather fastpitch softballs, you know they are not cheap and you want to make a good purchase. My daughter is a 15 year old fastpitch softball pitcher and has come to prefer the Dudley Thunder Heat leather version due to the tight / high raised seams; the leather and seams of this specific ball are excellent for grip, which equals spin for a pitcher. I've likely purchased or used softballs from about every manufacturer (Baden, Wilson, Worth, Trump Decker, Diamond, etc.), but she really prefers the seams on the Dudley. This order was made for replacement, because other players 'borrow' them (they like the seams too) long before the balls actually wear out. I guess that is to say, I've never had to throw one away because it was coming apart and I bought my first ones 2 years ago. I have not used them for batting practice or infield work, so cannot speak to how they hold up other than for use in pitching practice - but they are leather, well made, so I'm sure they would hold up as good or better than other products. The Dudley Thunder Heat is a good softball and 'pitcher approved'!

This is my favorite softball. It pops right off the bat!
