This is a perfect starter gift for someone who wants to try their hand at embroidery. I got this for my college age daughter as a project to do for her apartment and stress reliever. She loves succulents so it was the perfect kit for her. It's simple but challenging enough.

I have never done embroidery...ever. I actually purchased this thinking it was a cross-stitch. What a pleasant surprise! Very easy to follow. I found the instructions on particular stitches to be confusing on paper so I had to look up how-to videos on some. Took me about seven hours to finish one. I will be framing these little guys. Can’t wait to purchase more!

I had never tried embroidery but this is so relaxing and the instructions were pretty helpful. I already completed one and it is super cute. There were some blue lines from the template stamp but they soaked right off in water. I laid it flat to dry and covered the back with some felt. I’m going to display it in the hoop as wall art. I have already gotten several complements!

I loved it!! They provided plenty of floss and the designs were exactly as pictured. I do wish their instructions were a little clearer. I B ended up searching on YouTube how to do some of the stitches. But overall a great product

These two patterns where my first attempts at embroidery. I learned a lot doing them and they were a lot of fun. I will say that the instructions on how to complete the stitches were challenging but people do learn differently, so I can't say if it was the pictures or if it was me. However, YouTube remedied this easily. If you have trouble, just search the stitch on there -- they even advise that in the instructions. The only other issue I encountered was that the fabric slides out of the hoop so you have to adjust the tension frequently. For the price and for everything you get included, I'd definitely recommend this kit, though. It's great if you're a total beginner like me.

I've never done embroidery before and this was a great starter set. The designs are printed on, comes with extra string and needles. I looked on YouTube for stitches I needed more explanation for but overall I would recommend this to anyone starting off!

This kit was a great way to get familiarized with embroidery! I have always thought embroidery was so fun, and wanted to give it a shot myself. It was nice having the pattern printed on the embroidery linen and having the exact colors needed made it very easy!

I'm only about halfway done with one of the kits but I've really been enjoying it so far! Pretty comprehensive kit for embroidery beginners and the pattern is easy to follow. Kit comes with basically everything you need to start.
