i've been looking for a cleansing balm for my makeup that is often hard to remove with makeup remover alone and i'm so glad i found this! i was searching for something similar to using coconut oil, when it's cooled to a balm consistency, except not totally coconut oil. i have sensitive, combination skin and moderate acne and i'm so glad i tried this!i've been using it for a couple of weeks now on about an every-other-night basis and i've had no irritations whatsoever. makeup (especially mascara) comes right off in seconds. traditional makeup remover i felt was too harsh of a process, considering my mascara is pretty stubborn to come off and would cause me more discomfort than it was worth. i love that it doesnt have much of a scent either.i've seen some reviews disliking the moisture it leaves behind, but that was the reason why i bought it personally. i love it! it's really great for nighttime use to ensure around my eyes are especially moisturized. they just feel so much softer and better! then i wash my full face with cleanser, and finish the rest of my skincare routine. then i put extra eye cream on to keep around my eyes moisturized throughout the night and supple in the morning :) i love my results and my skin has been looking much healthier! a little bit goes a long way but i will probably repurchase whenever i do run out!

Bought this as an alternative to Farmacy Green Clean. I will say that this is the closest I’ve been able to get. It’s great for a oil based cleanser, but I feel that the coconut oil makes it very thick.It has a grainy texture when you scoop it out of the container. As it warms up to your skin the grains dissolve. I assume they are the coconut oil.The balm removes makeup daily decently. It takes a little more effort than Farmacy Green clean, but it more effective than other oil based cleansers I’ve tried.After use, I feel as though it takes two washes with a liquid cleanser to remove the coconut oil from my face. I could wash it once and allow the coconut oil to moisturize my face, but I prefer to clean it off completely and to use my own moisturizers since I use Korean skin care.Overall really like the product and will buy it again. It’s not as good as Farmacy Green Clean, but for the price it is as close as you can get! Does everything it is supposed to and I really appreciate the clean ingredients.

I've been using this cleansing balm since I bought it in February!Disclaimer: This is the first cleansing balm I've tried so I do not have much to compare it to. Several other reviewers noted that more expensive brands work better, which could be true, however it's you're on a budget or looking for a natural option this could be a good buy for you.Skin type: acne-prone, combo with sensitivity to certain ingredients.How I use it:I highly recommend using the product as directed.1. Use a pea to dime size amount on dry skin2. Rub gently in circular motions3. After rubbing over the entirety of my face, I rinse my hands in warm water4. Use excess moisture from rinse to create then emulsion, the product will turn a milky color5. Use a warm damp washcloth to wipe product off your face (I use the Burt's baby bee washcloths)6. Follow with cleanser, moisturizer, etc.Following these steps I've had great results! It does not break me out or clog my pores. I do not find that it is greasy as other reviewers stated and the only time I use this on its own is when I DID NOT wear makeup and I'm feeling lazy. This comes with a ton of product so it lasts a very long time if you use small amounts.

I bought this product back in 2019 and have been using this on and off as part of my cleansing routine. I just finished the last of it this week and felt compelled to write this review for those who are considering this product. When using, I make sure to warm up my hands so the product can melt and goes on smoother. However, it seems like every time I use this to remove my mascara, I always end up pulling out at least one eyelash. Now for a girl who barely has any lashes like me, this is a huge disappointment! Even when I make sure to gently rub the product over my eyes, it still manages to remove some lashes in the process...not sure if this happened to anyone else but I just thought I'd put this out here to help others who might find this experience helpful in their buying process.

I was reading the reviews from others and had the same problem as one buyer.The product was full of hard lumps that wouldn’t break up between my fingers. Realizing that there are natural ingredients in this product I surmised that the honey had become crystalized so l heated a pan of simmering water and left it in it until it had melted them,then placed it in the fridge to firm back up, worked like a charm! I love this product and will buy it again..... Also, don’t microwave this because you could be distroying some of the benefits of the natural ingredients in this cleanser.

I purchased this sample size to try it out before getting a larger one and I am very happy that I did, It came to me quickly, packaged well and in a cute little jar with full instructions of use on the back. It doesn't really have a smell and its very creamy and soft to the touch, I used very little product on my fingertips rubbing them together and then applying to my whole face and even eyelids, you can see your makeup literally breaking down, then with a cotton pad I just wiped away my makeup even waterproof eyeliner, I like this product very much and look forward to getting the bigger jar now for everyday makeup removal, I would recommend giving this one a try, it leaves your face clean and feeling soft.
