Hey folks, if you’re looking for a leather journal that’s beautifully designed and costs less, this is the one!I really enjoyed my purchase because i’ve got the sun & moon journal from this seller beforeand i knew what i would be getting, please keep in mind that leather journals are a very hard to craft, and that each of them will come in different colors (as it is painted), better embossment from one another and etc...Mine came with less pages than what it should have but I don’t get bothered about itI just felt that the seller still could consider my suggestion from the other review that i did about storing his inventory, because these journals seems to stay on top of each other like a pile, so they do come with a dent or marking, whatever you want to call it at the front cover, i was aware of this condition because the sun & moon journal i purchased twice and it is what it is you know, i just wanted to reinforce my statement in here to see if this helps somehow to stop this from continuously happeningI will also say that yes it comes with a smell but if it didn’t, it just wouldn’t be leather, so yeahI know leather journals can be very expensive so this is just right to me, it was affordable that is, for the price it could have arrived as fake leatherAnother suggestion, is that it would be nice if the craftsman could do a better work on the clasps of the journal as it does damage the last pages of the journal creating dents on them, besides all that i’m very grateful for having them, feels very vintage to me ;D

I ordered 2 of these, and there was only a slight difference between them- One was a little sturdier and glossier. I have no issue with this since it shows they are hand-made. There is a scent, which I don't mind, but some might find it off-putting. You're not gonna get super high quality leather for this price, lol. But it is very decent for what it is. The paper has nice natural variation and is bound well- for artists or those wanting to use heavier mediums, it feels a lot like a mixed media paper to me. I haven't tried anything on it yet, though. It is 5 x 7 inches exactly, and the latch seems sturdy and works well. I'd say worth the buy if you're looking for something simple and with a low price.

I counted.What is cool is it looks like if I fill it up and want to keep using the cover for atmosphere, the binding should be able to remove the current pages, put in clear ones, and tie it all back up.

It's beautifully crafted with high quality materials and the design is perfect for me personally.I love the feel of the thick, soft pages and the protection of the flexible wraparound leather cover with the security of the clasp on the front, as well as the convenient 5"×7" size is comfortable in my hands to carry and not unwieldy like a larger size might be.This is the perfect journal for anyone.My own purpose for it is to use it for my book of shadows, or grimoire, and when this one is full I will most likely buy a second one of the same - the only difference might be the design on the front.I'm loving it and can't recommend it higher!

I'm absolutely in love with this journal and am making it my new Grimoire. The leather looks like more of a bonded leather and isn't super thick but in my opinion it gives a nice soft feel to the book that I enjoy. The embossing and stitching is really nice too! The paper is thicker that I expected and took acrylic paint pretty well without bleeding and didn't bubble up that much either. I really love this and am excited to fill it up!!
