Easy to install and works flawlessly.
Crucial's website has a useful tool where you can enter your model number and it'll show you everything they have that's compatible with your system. I recommend using it if you are not sure of the type you need.I used their tool. It said this was the ram for my system so I came back here and purchased it.I opened my laptop, installed the additional ram, turned it back on, and that was all I needed to do.Everything just worked and the performance increase is quite noticeable - for a relatively cheap upgrade.My laptop is the Asus FX505DY FWIW.

Great for gaming laptops. And a decent Ram stick in general
I have a 8gb laptop and I brought this ram stick to be able to play more intensive triple AAA games that would need more the 8gb. And this ram is was more then enough. The 2666mhz was defiantly fast enough to keep up with most demanding games. Also it took me like 15 minutes to install the RAM is and most of it is screwing and unscrewing the laptop. So overall I would suggest this RAM stock to anyone and everyone who wants extra RAM for any specific reason. At a reasonable price

Great for use within a NAS
I bought this memory to use within a Synology NAS and has worked great, with no issues of compatibility. I can’t speak to its performance necessarily as for my use case it perfectly does its duty and I’ve had zero issues since installing.

Very easy to install and works automatically
Arrived quickly, was easy to install and works as soon as I turned the laptop on.If I could suggest something, I do like it if the package was more protective.

2x8GB = fantastic
Ram prices are fluctuating so do look around for the best value for money.Easy to install and great for a boost in gaming, especially using 2 sticks. When using two 4GB sticks, I had issues driving fast in GTA V. A game over 6 years old. Since upgrading to two 8GB sticks, it’s been smooth sailing. The OS has also seen a boost in my every day tasks.8GB alone is quite small by the current standards to ensure your computer has at least 16GB or more to future proof yourself.

Good solid RAM from a reputable brand.
I replaced my existing 8gb of ram in my Acer an515-42 laptop with this pair and no issues as yet. Performance seems to be much improved, with video editing noticeably faster, and games having a few extra fps. My only issue is the packaging was a flimsy clamshell of plastic and it was placed in a thin cardboard sleeve. Luckily nothing was damaged, but maybe place something like this in a small box with packing material in future.

Just what my laptop needed!
I'm a Uni student and my ASUS TUF Gaming laptop which I use for my work had only 8gb of RAM which limited me a little with my software. Looking into RAM upgrades on Amazon, I stumbled across this beauty which fit the specifications for my laptop perfectly.When it arrived, I opened my package to reveal the RAM in minimal packaging which easily opened, which is a plus in my books. I found the installation of the RAM easily enough after working on desktops and laptops previously, and after putting it back together it was ready to go straight away, no more problems!Overall, a great product and i'd definitely buy again. Anyone buying the product should do their research on their specified laptop(s) as specs and installation can vary.

compatible with ROG Zephyrus G14 and works like a charm
tl;dr, review title + turn computer off completely and unplug your computer before upgrading your ram b/c some tutorials won't remind you to do that when you install ram into your computer on your own. just closing the computer will not do anything.I got 1 ram card, which came in one of those cheap little plastic packages that everything comes in these days and was mailed in a small parcel. i installed the ram myself, and it works well, as expected from something made by crucial.I own the ROG Zephyrus G14 that comes with 8gb of ram soldered to the motherboard. It has one upgrade slot for an additional 8gb of ram (i believe the 16gb model is the same: 16gb soldered onto motherboard and 1 open slot, but I'm unsure of whether you can put a 16gb ram chip in the slot or if it can only be 8gb).since most highly demanding games can, but barely, run on 8gb, i opted for another 8gb of ram. i've done ram upgrades before, but for those who haven't, there's a lot of good videos out there on youtube that show you how to install a new ram chip into an open slot (or conversely, take a ram stick already in your computer out of a slot, and put in a new ram stick in). some videos won't say as much, but ALWAYS turn your computer completely off and unplug it before performing any kind of upgrade on it. you can fry the whole computer doing that or electrocute yourself.
