New World - new hobby
Having enjoyed traditional games we bought this as a foray into the modern world of board games, and love it. Part of the appeal of such games is the quality of the components and, unlike one disappointed reviewer, the set we received was excellent. We have gone on to buy Splendor and 7 Wonders Duel, and now we look forward to tv-free evenings each week enjoying gameplay and each other's company. We will soon be needing a bigger games cupboard!

Good strategic game.
Great alternative to the original version of this game. I like the way that despite sharing similarities, it plays out quite differently.Really smooth worker placement game (or so my husband tells me!).Aimed at adults but suitable from 11+.

Great addition to the Century trilogy
I have had Century Spice Road for some time, and never really thought about adding to the trilogy. But decided to buy the third (A New World), and was glad I did. It is much better than the second (Eastern Wonders) and compares favorably with the original. Haven't tried the two together in combination, but might sometime in the future. The components for A New World are good and everything fits well in the box. Would recommend anyone who has Spice Road to add this to their list.

Shame two sets of playing pieces are the same colour
Just opened up the game and looking forward to the 4 of us playing. However would I be right to assume that one set of playing pieces should be red in colour.Please can this be sent out ASAP.Have just received my replacement game only to find now two sets of blue playing pieces and no red!!!Should this game have 4 sets of playing pieces in colours black, white, blue and red???If so, why can my game have one of each colour to allow 4 players to play with their own individual colour!!!!

Unacceptable
Absolute disgrace. Game arrived with several pieces who were ‘halved’ and missing the ‘extra’ cards which aid in playing the other century games. Absolutely awful. Do not buy
