Simple, in a good way. There's one button to press, pairing is straightforward, profiles (in Windows 10) work as expected. Interface is called out by a Chinese-sounding lady, which is new to me. The headphone/3.5mm plug detaches (male to male) so the adapter can be used by both cable end types, which is nice.This device is very small, about the size of an AAA battery. I picked this up specifically because it'd be easy to attach (hot glue) to a pair of wired headphones with a short extension cable. This quickly and seamlessly turned my Sennheiser HD569 Cs (closed) headphones into a lovely, wire-free set. I work in between a desk with a PC on it and an electronics bench at work - I found myself rolling over the (extended) cable over and over, and constantly ripping my headphones off my own head. Aggravating.This device solved that issue, but I can't recommend it - the sound quality is actually terrible. There's a high noise floor, so it sounds like a low-amplitude/low-volume faint hiss in all music. Clarity of music is really bad, sounds like FM quality over crappy car speakers. The cordless freedom is certainly awesome, but at work, I listen to music just to drown out background noise so I can focus. When listening to music that I know quite well, the sound quality is bad enough to be distracting.I know the issue is not the bluetooth link quality as this is one of three or four bluetooth adapters I have at my desk. I had high hopes for this one since it was so compact and wouldn't hang off my headphones and be super visually distracting to my coworkers (with blinking lights, chunkiness, etc.), but it falls short from an otherwise awesome form factor.One final comment on form factor - while this device is great, compact, and flexible enough for the application, plugging it directly into a headphone that has detachable cords is a disaster waiting to happen. A hard adapter hanging off something that moves a lot is a lever arm that is just asking for trouble. I would NOT plug this into the bottom of expensive headphones, or even a set of speaker inputs - it is going to get smacked at some point, and you could damage the much more expensive thing you plug it into - just be aware.

Edit: Looks like the customer service also isn’t the type to offer a refund or replacement so I would strongly advise you to not purchase this product from this company. Please choose from one of the other plethora of better Bluetooth receivers on Amazon.Cheers.This lasted literally one charge cycle. It worked (had a little bit of charge) out of the box. Worked well actually. Then went to charge it for the first time (nothing crazy, plugged into a computer since it is USB) and it showed it was charging for a brief while (LED) until it completely stopped working.Won’t turn on. Won’t charge. Won’t show an LED that it is or isn’t charging, is or is not connected. Pressed the button many times many different ways. Nada. Dead product.Cheap electronics or received a lemon, dunno. Try your chances elsewhere!

I bought this on 8-5 due to its five star rating at the time. Writing this review now on 8-10, I see there are now some negative reviews.Pro's:Sound quality is decent when not using the male adapter.Small in size.You can use it while it's charging.Cons:There is static when utilizing the male adapter in vehicles, which is disappointing.Does not automatically pair to my phone when back in range, so I have to futz with it to pair again.In my opinion, it performs like something that should be sub $10 and not $17. I wouldn't recommend this product.8-16 Update:Bumped down to one star. I was using my device today in the vehicle. Charger plugged in and playing music. It powered off and will not turn back on again. This thing is a pile of garbage. I would not recommend purchasing.

I bought this to use on non bluetooth TV so I could use bluetooth headphones and not disturb the household while I watch TV and I could not get them to pair to OTium headset or any other bluetooth headset. I know its not headphones because that paired fine to my tablet. Second one same thing. But I was able to pair with laptop but that defeats the purpose why I bought it. I need a device that will pair to headset so I can watch TV without disturbing the house. I will be returning item again. Will not work pairing headset to non bluetooth device.

I use my over-the-ear headphones when gaming, but have always hated the cord. This little thing is perfect!!! Pairing it with my iMac was just as easy as pairing my wireless mouse. There was no sound quality difference and no annoying beeping when I increased/decreased volume or any other function. The only sound it makes is a nice guitar (?) strumming sound when I turned it on or off. The indicator light is small but well lit. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but since I'm using it at my desk I have no concern about recharging it. Also, I haven't tested any phone features, I'm just using this for gaming on my desktop. My headphones already have a noise canceling feature that works with this quite well. If I remember, I'll update this review if needed, but for now this is exactly what I was looking for.

I like this mini bluetooth receiver. It's extremely easy to use,no lag and very portable.In the week I've been using it, I was pleasantly surprised.The battery has not yet had to charge, so I do not know how long it will last,but it can be use while charging which makes it perfect worry free.The connectivity is amazing, it is turning on the device and the mobile is automatically connected without me doing anything else.The truth is that for the price you have I should have bought one of this kind of bluetooth aux adapter much earlier.

It worked for a couple of hours then quit. None of the lights worked using any of the button press sequences from the User Manual. I tried charging it using the supplied cable, but the LED never lights under any circumstance and the unit is unresponsive.I sent a message to support and will update my review if they respond positively. If not, this negative review will stand.
