Great for use in sit in kayak!
Bulky in a small sit in kayak. Amazing to actually use in 8ft sit kayak! Female - no leaks! Easy to use then just pour it out. Perfect for a woman's urinating position.

I didn't have a clue how much I would appreciate something like this until I started using it after surgery. Bought extra ones.
First experience using one of these was waking up from an emergency surgery from a septic infection in my knee replacement. Had to use it from the hospital bed with nurse's assistance the first day, but after was able to use it myself during the time I was still unable to get up out of bed. It was a total lifesaver! As I said, my introduction to this was after the second surgery on my knee within 10 days and at a different hospital from the first. After the first surgery I had been having repeated trouble making it to the bathroom because I seemed to have less control after being catheterized for the first surgery not to mention I just couldn't move very quickly getting up or on crutches and had several accidents which was upsetting. The first hospital had nothing like this to offer or even suggest. The second hospital sent this home with me and it saved me repeatedly from any further accidents when I could use this at the edge of the bed when I woke up having to go urgently. This is exactly the same unit/brand the hospital sent home with me, although I am betting my insurance paid a heck of a lot more for it than I paid on Amazon. I am still non-weight bearing for the last 8 weeks and at least another 5weeks before I get a new knee replacement which will only be the beginning of rehab due to the atrophy. I purchased a couple more of these for the car, front room and will have one in the camper when I am recovered. Had to learn to position it correctly and not tip it too far, but that was easy to figure out. The curved in edge at the top helps prevent spills and it has a very decent 1qt capacity. I haven't had any issue emptying it then rinsing with a spray of disinfectant and water so it's ready for the next use.Tried a different style with a larger reservoir that attached via a hose to the male urinal that included a "female adapter", but that adapter came loose repeatedly which completely defeated the purpose of using a portable urinal in the first place. This is a great single piece option and most people won't exceed the capacity. It isn't very expensive and it is a great alternative when mobility is an issue, but will also be nice to have available when traveling or camping in the future. I didn't have a clue how much I would appreciate something like this until I needed it. I highly recommend!

Great for hiking and camping too !
I was shopping for female urination devices but didn't like the designs out there. Many problems came up in the reviews. When all things were considered I decided that this product would be the best even though it's a little bigger than the other F.U.D. models. Because its self contained (fail safe) you can use it inside a tent if you had to and empty it later outside. I tried it out the other day while hiking and it worked great. I did take an old hiking sock and slipped over this to make a cover so its a little more discreet and of course I put it in a zippy and put everything (toilet paper, wet naps, hand sanitizer) in its own little tote, but really it was well worth all of the effort.

Works well with no leaks or mess!
Spending time in CCU and not being ambulatory made it very uncomfortable. The hospitals I was admitted to did not have female urinals. I have used this style at home for many years. I finally bought extra to take for hospitalizations and use in the car for long trips. Male urinals are sharp and very uncomfortable. This female urinal is smooth and comfortable. It has an inner lip to keep any drips inside the urinal. This is the best one I have tried in the ten years I have needed one. Have tried others and was sorely disappointed. I'm stocking up!

If you are a woman and have an incontinence problem ...
If you are a woman and have an incontinence problem or travel were finding a rest room can be a problem you need to get this female urinal! It has spared me several very embarrassing times.I LOVE them!!! I have purchased 2 more so I have 1 for home and one for each of my 2 cars.Use it at home so you can determine easiest method for getting it into place while you have time. I tried to use it in a hurry without really looking at it and had problemsI then took time to look at the photo carefully. In bed, you can slide it into place in the position shown and as long as it is held tightly in place and the top is higher, you can relieve yourself without spilling any liquids other than what escaped before the unit was in place.Wearing baggy shorts and depends or other similar underwear, it is possible to get it in place without undressing or sitting. Just open the car door and facing the car slide it into place.

Does the job.
I am non-weight bearing after an accident and getting up to use a commode in the middle of the night was not a great option. This fits well. It holds enough to tide me over at night but the capacity is still a lot less than a man's urinal. I have not tried using it laying down as the shape makes it hold even less then. This was obviously designed by a man and not field tested. The "handle" is meant for a child and is hollow which means it captures some of the urine every time. The shape makes it nearly impossible to clean all areas with a brush. However, the price is right. It is quite sturdy.

Must have for any female!
This is great for traveling, recovering after a surgery or while ill. I needed this for my 5 year old daughter who will be having knee surgery soon. I know in the days after surgery bending and sitting can be uncomfortable, so this will be handy for me to help her during the day if needed or at night by her bedside. I especially like the folded down edge around the rim (if that makes sense) which keeps urine from leaking out. Highly recommend!
