I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 14 or 15. I’ve tried to get my head around countless theory books and chord charts and they always over complicate things. It’s no good having it on your phone either. I have guitar Apps which are useful but they don’t always show the whole fretboard. I think the numbering system is great because it helps me to understand related keys on the circle of fifths. The explanations of chord structure are simple and easy to understand. The relationships between major and minor becomes more obvious. It’s useful to have a list of modes and chords in credit card format. Just brilliant. I have learned more about the guitar fretboard and music theory in days instead of years. I recommend buying some. Very useful!

Very good in theory and decent quality - no explanation of the information provided.Not ideal for a novice - my son needed further explanation provided in a book that I owned, thankfully.

Well made and great for mapping the fretboard in your mind.As other have said, go to the manufacturers website and print the explanations of each card.Got me over a slight wall in my self taught guitar journey, thanks!Note they're Credit card sized

These cards are good memory aids for the enthusiastic guiarist.

Very handy well laid out theory for guitar, value for money, but should be used in Co Junction with the very detailed expanded explanation that it provided free on the IMP website. Would recomend.

I had expected an easy reference guide to the main keys for learning guitar. Thinking (for me) D, A, G and E. More moron than maestro!What came was a set of very nicely made credit card size aids but strangely only for the key of C, a fact which was not flagged up on the purchase page. C is explored in great and utterly incomprehensible detail so far as this learner is concerned. (It should be noted that no instructions came with the pack.) Only if I had achieved considerable proficiency would I have been able to use the info on the cards. They are hardly for novices. This pack is going to the back of a drawer in the vain hope that some day I will know (and understand) enough music theory.

Excellent little theory reference cards for guitar players, useful for anyone who hasn’t grasped where the notes are on the guitar fretboard or plays by ear and wants to have a better understanding.
