I've been looking for some individual solar lights to hang from iron crooks in the garden but a lot of lights come on one long wire which would not be suitable.I ordered a set of these lights and was so pleased I ordered another 2 sets. (One as a gift) They look great in the day as they are fairly unobtrusive but in the evening they look lovely and are much brighter than you'd expect. They are not difficult to set up and as they are Mason jars they are sturdy and perfect for the job. I do plan to get them in for the winter.If you're looking for a simple but effective solar light these are just the job!

I bought these to hang in our garden and for one to give to my girlfriend on our anniversary as a 'happiness jar'.I filled the one with heart-shaped confetti which sticks to the inside of the glass, and a number of heart-shaped cards with things I love about my girlfriend, finished off with a good satin bow. When it lights up, it looks absolutely beautiful.The lights take a while to charge but now are very bright and last a long time. They do come with an 800mAh AA battery inside which can be replaced with a higher capacity one so they would stay on for longer, but this is more than adequate.The glass itself is thick enough to withstand small drops but I would still be careful.

I hang these around the pergola I have in my garden and it looks nice at night. I never thought it would work, but I leave it on all the time so it absorbs the sunlight during the day time (if there’s any!) and switches itself on at night. Sometimes the lights do not come on and you need to open the jar and given the wires/lights a bit of a wiggle), then it switches on again! They are not strong enough to light up the seating area in the garden but merely for decoration purposes but it may work better if you have more? I only have 4 jars. My friends have seen them and also ordered them for her garden! Not sure how long they will last but for now so far so good so I recommend them.

The lights are good quality, waterproof sealed, bright and stay lit a long time.

These are very nice. Now that it’s spring they get enough charge from the sun to light up at night and last well into late morning. However that is not the case in the winter when they don’t get enough sun to them. I would still recommend them though. I did find it really difficult to identify what the mAH (milliampere hour) value was for these, as I believe that in general batteries are getting better, charging faster and holding a longer charge, so worth checking this value. Some of the other manufacturers are providing these details.It is also worth mentioning that you can purchase the solar jar tops and hanging wire, so that you just provide the mason jar and led lights, so worth searching around.

Absolutely lovely garden lights. They are well-filled with warm white twinkly lights and are bright enough to be a real feature scattered round the patio and garden. They look equally great hung on shepherd’s crooks, nestled in planters and pits or just sitting on a table or on the paving. This is my second set, they’re great value for money and really enhance the garden after dark.

I loved these lights at first. After a few months, one had stopped working and now 2 years later, none of them work. They’re fine if you just want to try out little jar lights and see how they look, but don’t expect them to last long term. I have other cheap solar powered string lights that are all going strong after 3+ years so I don’t believe these are really worth buying.

So the first set..one wasn’t working when it arrived and one stopped working after 2 days. The company got in touch and replaced them. But after 2 weeks they all one by one stopped working or worse won’t stop flashing!! It’s a shame as they look really well made and pretty. I was really looking forward to using them. My daughter had one which kept in her bedroom so it was almost a night light. But hers started flashing after 10 days. I think the longest any of them lasted was 17 days. What a shame.

Queda muy elegante la iluminación, aunque tenue

J'ai acheté plusieurs de ces lanternes pour mon jardin. Elles sont vraiment très biens, étanchent et éclairent, jusqu'au petit matin, un vrai bonheur.Elles donnent un aspect très cosy pour nos diners.Elles fonctionnent été comme hiver mais c'est l'été où nous en profitons plus lors de nos diners entre amis, qui d'ailleurs ont adoré notre jardin illuminé.

El paquete trae cuatro botes de vidrio, con una pequeña asa para corgarla, cuya tapa trae una pequeña placa solar para poder cargar la batería. Aunque no ilumina mucho, es muy bonita para decorar una mesa o una terraza. Si se queda sin batería, podemos cambiar la pila AAA que trae en su interior, quitando los tornillos del interior de la tapa. Se puede forzar el encendido de las luces aunque haya luz, tapando la placa solar. También podemos apagarla usando el interruptor debajo de la tapa. No he podido probar la estanqueidad de la tapa, pero creo que podrá soportar las gotas de lluvia.
