PRO Timer 2.5 Camera Intervalometer for Time Lapse and Astro Photography - Adjustable Interval Length - 0.1 Seconds

Although I haven't used this in the field yet, the tests so far are very good. The interface was very easy to use and I'm blown away so far with the amount of control you get. Very cool intervalometer from a great company. The software is also top of the line.

This thing is feature packed and way better than any of my previous intervalometers. It works as described and is also being constantly updated for new features by the creator. This intervalometer is built and designed specifically for the particular needs of its users + improved based on user feedback. My only gripe is that it has no data connection with the camera and thus unable to do a smooth exposure ramp on its own based on actual (almost) real-time light levels of the scene. It would have been good. However, all is not lost, as it can be used in conjunction with some ramping software solution that they have recommended, which run to control the camera and set the proper values based on calculated exposure levels. It can run using a mobile or pc app (wired or wireless). With it in place this thing works flawlessly. But you will have to keep your laptop or mobile phone running and powered when using it because it needs to calculate the exposure while the time-lapse is running. That’s something to consider, and price too, because it’s on the higher end. And additionally I had to buy that compatible ramping app for like 10 bucks or something.

It's relatively simple to use and reduces the space between shots from 1 second to 3/10ths of a second- a BIG advantage for both time lapse and LE of stars for stacking images. It virtually eliminates the gaps between exposures and makes for a very smooth stack.

This is the perfect tool for time lapse. All the features you need, small size, excellent build quality, and the best support in the industry.

The set up is so simple, and easy no matter your choices of configuration. Connects to the Canon with interface cable I had on hand from other Intervalometers. The LCD screen is easy to read even with my tired eyes. The unit is small but all the function are on one control, just rotate to the function and settings you desire.Gunter has put a lot of thought and testing into his design, well worthy of your review and purchase.Will give it 5 stars when I try it out in the cold with gloves.

The problem with trying to use a cameras built in intervalometer is that you can't make exposure adjustments while the camera is shooting. This means you won't be shooting day-to-night or night-to-day timelapses.The problem with buying any other intervalometer is that they take an enormously long time to send a focus signal to the camera - even if you are using manual focus! If the time between images is short, and you want to make exposure adjustments, there just isn't a lot of extra time to be wasting on focusing signals when you're using manual focus anyway.

This is a very useful device for those who love to take timelapse video.

The first unit that I received was Dead on Arrival. The battery was dead and it wouldn't hold a charge. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to return it and order another. By now they were out of stock on Amazon and I had to wait about 2 weeks to order another one.While I agree that the features of this unit are more advanced than other intervalometers on the market, I can not wrap my brain around the cost for the value.The build quality of this unit is very CHEAP. After having received one that was broken out of the box, I had no confidence that it would survive very long and decided to return the 2nd unit as well.I'll be interested in ordering this unit when they increase the size of the display and improve the build quality.

Intervallometro progettato apposta per chi fa time lapse e astro fotografia!Il materiale al tatto è buono.Non è un intervallometro qualunque perché ha funzioni molto specifiche per riprese time lapse. L'unica "pecca" non fa il bulb ramping automatico in base all'esposizione. Però poco conta per chi come me preferisce avere padronanza in modalità Manuale senza nessun tipo di automazione.La batteria ai ioni-litio può esser caricata tramite micro usb con un comune caricatore per cellulare.

Fantastico "giocattolo" per chi ama fare i time lapse, con questo decidi tu ogni tempo che desideri, dalle pause alle pose, e la quantità di fotografie, e tante altre funzionalità.Costoso ma da soddisfazione.

Aspettavo da tempo questo intervallometro. Ottimo prodotto. Leggero, poco ingombrante. Vale tutti soldi richiesti.

Dopo quasi due anni si è bruciato questo regolatore di tensione sulla scheda. Ora impossibile dire se era difettoso il regolatore, ma ha sempre sofferto un pò di autonomia della batteria. Sara stato questo il motivo? Non lo so.Funziona ancora se alimentato esternamente dal connettore micro-usb.
