Great light for enthusiastst and firsts-timers
This is a great light for flashaholic enthusiasts and first-time high voltage flashlight buyers alike. It is one of the smallest, most powerful single-cell 18650 battery flashlights on the market, squeezes out awesome power for the Cree XM-L2 emitter that has been out for a couple years now but is still apparently cutting edge. This light is really, really bright for something so small. The modes are well spaced, it is brighter than my single cell 18650 XM-L2 eagletac D25LC2 and seems just as bright as the G25 series even though it also seems half the size. Pretty floody but has good throw as well. Tint might not please warm light high cri loving Nichia 219B fans, but that's a matter of preference, it's seems neutral enough to me, no annoying blue tint. The main selling point for flashlight novices is that it charges via USB so you don't need to buy a separate high voltage Li Ion battery charger, and these packages on Amazon come with the battery. Just get one with a higher capacity 3400 mAh battery like this package, avoid the ~ 2000 mAh batteries, defeats the purpose of this form factor. Enthusiasts disagree about the value of onboard usb charging, adds circuitry and possible fail points, but this model certainly doesn't seem larger than competitors that don't have usb charging, liek the Eagletac TX25, if anything it's the opposite.

Excellent Falshlight!
I thought that this package was a good price for what was offered. The flashlight is awesome! Interface is easy. I like that it has a blue indicator light that can be turned on so it can be found in the dark. I used this feature recently while staying at a cabin rental in the mountains where there are no outside lights. The battery holds power well and I like that it's capable of 1,000 lumens. It seems that the battery will charge faster in the Nitecore charger but, having a built in charging USB is cool as well. A bit bulky in the pocket because of the oversized head but not a huge problem. Great light! I have it with me everyday. Recommended!

MH20 Nitecore, compact light with HUGE performance!
Nitecore makes some of the best flashlights on the market. Very solid durable products. The MH20 even has a power button that can flash blue every few seconds to it can be found in total darkness. The light shipped with a very high quality protected mode 18650 battery and a nice holster for the light. A lanyard was also part of the package. As with most lights that accept 18650's you can also use a pair of CR123's in a pinch to power up. The MH20 has a rubber covered micro USb port for recharging. The output on high is rated at 1000 lumens - the very compact size of this light will fool people. When showing off our lights at night the crowd was amazed at the ability of this small flashlight to throw a beam over 100 yards! There was a bit of flashlight envy going on... I now carry this light everyday.

So much power in such a small light. Almost perfect - just missing a few features.
1000 lumens in a small handheld light - what more could I ask for? Although the head is wider than your average EDC flashlight, I could clip this inside my front pant pocket and forget it's there.PROs: Direct access to 1 lumen low and 1000 lumen turbo modes, tail stand capability, battery voltage indicator, your choice of rechargeable 18650 or 2x CR123A batteries, blue blinking light to help locate your flash light in the dark (you can turn this feature off).CONs: No momentary on feature. Might take some getting used to if you are used to gripping your flash light in your palm with your thumb at the back (no rear power button). Finding the power button on the side may take a few seconds in total darkness, but there are work-arounds like aligning the clip with the power button, or enabling the blinking indicator. For beam shots, head over to this review posted by another user:http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?400210-*New*-Nitecore-MH20/page3

Wow!
The output from this light on turbo mode is something to behold. I bought it for use on the farm so I could light up a pasture well enough to check on the animals. I can charge it from the USB port in my vehicle, it's compact enough that the cord & light fits in the corner of the glove box. Construction is top notch and it's easy to navigate the power levels. The throw is broad enough to light up a large area, to me, it's the ideal compromise between a spot & flood. It's a bit big for EDC pocket carry but ideal for the BOB or glove/tool box and the convenience of the built in USB charging pot is invaluable. Just a flat out awesome light in every sense of the word.

Insanely bright while it worked, but died after a week
It was great for about a week, then it died: First symptom was it wouldn't turn all the way off, no matter what I did, even after removing and replacing the battery, letting it sit without the battery for a while, etc. After about an hour of this, it eventually did turn off, and never turned back on.I returned it for a refund. The return process was painless and simple.

Super convenient
There are plenty of 1000 lumen flashlights powered by an 18650 battery on Amazon. This one is uniquely compact yet still has a built-in USB charger. There other nice features: a clip designed for deep-pocket carry; a two-stage switch that allows instant selection of low, high, or last mode; a flat tail that stands up securely. This is the one I carry every day. You will too if you try it.

Best flashlight ever!
This is the most powerful flashlight I have ever owned. I use it at night on out boat. It's amazing. I had a few flash lights in the past I thought were powerful but this one makes them see like candles. High quality. Would strongly recommend
