I mean. Look. They're plastic. They look like plastic. No matter what hairstyle you do with them, they're always going to look like plastic. They aren't any sort of high-end sort of thing at all.But.They *do* stay in place pretty darn well and are nice muted colors that are suitable for the office (sorry, jelly variety; y'all are fun, but not very professional). I can't say that fewer hairs are pulled out compared to the claws that I had been using to keep my head up, but my scalp and head hurt a LOT less overall when I take my hair down after wearing these. That's a plus, right?(They also haven't broken in the months that I've had them, compared to the claw clips from this same company, so that's also a plus!)

I have hair to my waist and pony tails get to be heavy. Braiding is kind of a pain because I'm growing everything to one length so there are a lot of little pieces that stick out of the braid. Buns can sit low or high, be tight or loose, and are pretty easy to control. Once in a while I grab those few hairs that pull no matter how many times I redo the bun. However, for the most part the bun is my preferred styling.The waviness of these doesn't interfere with sliding through the hair, and in fact kind of help to lock it into place. The length is great for my longer hair and the sticks are smooth. They're plastic so I was anticipating an issue with the sticks being rough and snagging my hair. While they're not 100% ridge-free the small amount of potential hair catchers, so far there have been no issues and they slide effortlessly through my hair.The colors are fairly true to the picture, autumn-themed, and will go well with darn near any natural or variation of natural hair color there is. Not-so-natural, but fun, colors like pink, blue, green, etc . . . may clash with all but the ivory or black sticks due to differences in vibrancy. The sticks are muted in hue.I'd absolutely purchase these again.

Very cheap. Maybe if I had thinner hair this would work but with my thick hair it broke the first time I used it. Now they are plant sticks

They don't stay in, or hold a bun, disappointed !

Theyre smaller than expected, thats the only reason that I took a star off. There's a blue pen for reference to size.
