The lid snaps on nice and secure, and it kept my drink cold for several hours outside in the Florida heat. Delivers the same quality at half the price of the name brand cup! My wife bought this for her best friend. She liked it so much after she received it, she bought the other one (You are the Monica to My Rachel) The letting on the wine glass actually stays on great. I wasn't sure how well it would hold up, but it's been washed several times and lettering looks brand new!
