KNIPEX71 01 200 Tools - CoBolt Compact Bolt Cutter (7101200), 8-Inch

Been using these for cutting thick, solid core galvinated rods. This little tool is like a tiny bolt cutter, and works very well. Satisfying cut through the material. I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it does. Will be buying from this brand again in the future.

So far it works fine. Seems to be very well built and should hold up for a long time.

I got these cutters for cutting a bunch of 8-32 hardware bolts in the field during cabinet installs. They cut effortlessly but found them a bit overkill for my needs and ended up swapping them for the Knipex wire cutters that cut the 8-32 bolts even better. Depending on your needed application these bolt cutters will most likely be a great option and last a lifetime.

The weight of the cutters feels nice and high quality! Cuts everything like butter! Should have gotten these sooner!

I cut 1/8 filler rod for Tig welding in these bad boys all the time with one hand this tool does the job

I bought the 8” bolt cutters and the two halves of the bolt cutter was off by around 1/10th of an inch so the head of the tool wasn’t even. I ordered a replacement and the replacement was symmetrical.In picture is comparison of the 8” to Kline wire strippers.These mini bolt cutters will be going in my HVAC service bag. Anytime I grab diagonal cutters it’s for something these mini bolt cutters would be better suited for.I’ll see how well I like them. Gave $38 for them

I am an electrician by trade and had bought this for doing 1/4 chain. Turns out it is incredibly useful for doing everyday tasks! Often use it for cutting through cable trays and baskets, 1/4 hardware, steel wire, chain, screws, even used it for 3/8 threaded rod a couple of times in a pinch. This bolt cutter is also super useful for repetitive cutting tasks as it greatly reduces cutting effort.Overall a great purchase and of course traditional Knipex quality and engineering. I am confident this will last many years to come!
