TOP HEADWEAR TopHeadwear Nylon Clip-On Visor, Black  I've pretty much lived in a visor for the last 40 years so am particular about how the visor fits since I have it on 10 hours a day, every day. This particular new visor (the black on on the right in my attached photo) is actually very nice quality and provides average sun shade which I prefer during the winter months and wear the ones that provide more shade coverage in the summer. I was hoping to buy more of these because this style is not readily available in stores anymore - but after trying this one I will not. If you look at my photo - the red visor on the left is one I've had, and you can see the overall opening where the ends touch is more oval shaped and does not pinch your head - while as you can see this new black one on right has is a more round opening where the ends meet and this translates to a real uncomfortable pinch on you're head after wearing only a short time. If it were not for the rounded shape that causes a nasty pinch I would be buying several more as they are quite nice quality. PS - I'm female and would say I have an average sized head. PSS - I've tried things to reshape and take the round curve out of the tips that pinch without luck.

Just received today so I haven't had a chance to do more than try it on. Very nice looking, regular size brim. The ends of the headband are slightly tight but I would rather have it a tad tight than too loose. I figure the ends can be repositioned a quarter inch up or down if it becomes a problem. The headband doesn't lay completely against the head as noted in another review but it's a small difference and overtop of my hair, I don't notice it while wearing the visor. It's made in China which may account for the slight head shape difference. I'm satisfied with the purchase.Update 6/25/18: I am upgrading the visor to five stars after wearing several times now. Perfect size and although the fit initially seems a tad snug when I put it on, it doesn't hurt my head. There's a small depression in my skull behind my ears. I make sure the end do not sit in that depression; seems delicate there. I place the band on the widest part of skull right above that depression and it's good. No pain. The visor can be moved up or down or tilted; I play around with how to position it since it's the first visor I've owned. I sprayed them both with fabric and leather protector. Good visor, good price.

I bought this visor in white and red. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I have locs and it’s almost impossible to wear a visor with the adjustable strap. This allows me the comfort and style I need when I’m out in the sun exercising. I also feel that the visor is constructed well and will probably withstand the use I will be putting them through without falling apart.

I'll revisit this review, but when I got the hat, it felt tight like lots of plastic headbands feel. I dont need to pierce my temples, I just want some shade! I hope it stretches some but I dont hold my breath. The sweatband appears thick and absorbent, as I sweat a lot and this keeps sweat out of my eyes. Appears well made. Not fond of polyester fabric stretched over a plastic bill. Would prefer cotton twill without a hard plastic bill as the visor infrastructure. Nice dark black color. Too expensive for what it is.

Great hat. It works well for what I need it for- dogwalking 2 hours per day. On the 3rd hour, it pinches a bit, but I won't deduct a star as it does what I need it to do for the length of time I'm in the sun. And I have a big head for a woman. Another great feature is that it won't ruin your hair like a regular cap would. Wish it came in pink. Washes well too, in a lingerie bag.

The actual brim/visor part is quite shallow! So shallow that I first thought I'd bought a kids' size by mistake!Could be good for sporty types who want more visibility overhead, but not all that helpful for those who are concerned about shade.

Well I'm super disappointed. Needed a visor for the weekend. This one is a child size. Gave it to my 11 year old.

The end of the hat does start to hurt my head after a awhile
