I use these for illustration. Very good pens that don't bleed when you color over the lines with alcohol markers.

I have bought this pack multiple times for an art class, and they always have a few that just aren't as 'dark' as if they have been used a little. It isn't a lot but be prepared for some variance, which I have never found when buying in store.

I really like these pens. I always have. I feel they are one of the smoothest pens to write with that doesn't have a ball. I prefer these due to their permanent ink and consistency of line quality.I wish they were offered in blue ink as well.My only complaints are that they are so expensive and the fact that the clip is a bit flimsy and tends to fail after a lit of use.

I cannot fault the drawing/writing experience of these pens- they do an excellent job for draftsmanship. However, after using them for a couple of months, I find that they dry out too quickly for their high price point. That is besides the fact that they initially arrived in a damaged, open box, which was very off-putting for the standard I was expecting of Staedler.

This is a great pen for drawing. Unfortunately the set I received was very dry.
