This is a great light and does exactly what I bought it for but there are a couple of things to consider.The lead is short. I knew that before I bought it and thought I can just replace that BUT it is soldered directly to the circuit board then covered in a transparent gloop so I abandoned that and (regrettably) added an in-line connector, circled in the picture. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074Q9CJQ8/The flying wires from the lead have been tinned with solder (good), but they are clearly expecting it to be connected via an outside box. The wires are about 50% too long for the above connector and, as you have to cut the exposed wire quite short for this type of connector, I'd recommend re-tinning them.Once I'd done that, and mounted the support on a French Cleat it worked exceptionally well. It shines a bright light down on the bench and I can move it about my garage as needed for other tools or areas.Not sure why there is a star rating for "motion detection" - this lamp does not have (and I do not want) that facility so I left that blank.I'll update this review if it fails (as in a couple of reviews) but, to be honest, I am expecting years of trouble-free easily movable lighting.

I ordered this as it was a reasonably cheap flood light to use on our drive.It arrived next day extremely well packaged (although the tape had been cut on the box for some reason)As a previous post said , the bracket looks a little flimsy although, after bolting it down, it seems reasonably sturdy.Tried it out for the first time tonight and I can't believe how bright it is.In summary, I'd recommend this flood light.

I generally tried to steer away from LED lights like this, as I didn't think they would do a good sjob, over a Halogen bulb.. But boy, was I wrong.. This is so bright, it's awesome.. when it's dark, it bright enough, to make my security camera switch to colour, instead of black & white.. Can also be used with a switch, so you can turn in on, overiding the sensor..

Purchased this floodlight to replace our old halogen one which was rusting. There seem to be conflicting comparisons online between the output of LED and halogen lamps, but this 100W LED lamp fully illuminates our 20ft square patio and gives better illumination than the 150W halogen lamp it replaced.Item arrived very quickly, and was easy enough for a non-electrician to install (we already had mains wiring for it to connect to. I'd strongly suggest that you unbolt the lamp from the bracket before affixing latter to wall as otherwise it is difficult to screw the latter in due to lack of working room. One word of caution; the written instructions that came with product incorrectly stated that the blue wire was live and the brown neutral - this could have proved catastrophic as of course it should be the other way around, so novices beware! The correct labelling is shown on the product's Amazon website so I guess a printing error but one that the sellers need to correct.2 days in it is still working fine, after torrential rain, so very satisfied so far.

Lights up our driveway really well. Very easy to fit and adjustable for sensitivity and duration.

DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTSI bought two of these, the first arrived and lasted five minutes, i thought it was a one off so foolishly ordered another, this lasted six days then malfunctioned like the first one, with these there is no bulb to replace so the whole unit needs replacing, i got my money back for the first one but could not be bothered with sending the second one back so apart from losing out on over £20 i was up and down the ladder, wiring, rewiring, drilling, what a waste of time and money.PS I have bought a very similar floodlight from Homebase and guess what one month later it is still working, if you purchase these floodlights after you have read my experience and it all goes wrong, blame yourself for not taking this on board.

Installed it on a switch so it’s only on when required morning and evening. It’s not not functioning correctly! Poor quality not lasting even a year. Avoid this cheap rubbish

EXTREMELY BRIGHT. I have a large garden and this lights up every corner, nice modern white light and makes my patio area look great , will be good in the summer for sitting outside. I did have to recall my electrician to adjust the angle as my neighbour said it was lighting up her garden too and she didn’t want that . But really happy with purchase and would recommend
