Love, love, love!!! It is as beautiful and bold as it looks in pics and is completely matte, dry/smudge proof! Amazing in general but Especially for othe price.

I love this brand! You have to know how to use it though. I see a lot of reviews and pictures of girls who don't know how to use it and it looks less than flattering. 1st) Make sure your lips are UNCHAPPED, hydrated, and if needed, you have exfoliated them properly. 2nd) Be QUICK and PRECISE. Don't go over it multiple times after it's already begun to dry - that's how you end up lifting it back up. Basically- paint ONE even coat begging at the outer edges of your lips - without overlapping. 3rd) LET IT AIR DRY! We are so used to smacking our lipstick- DON'T DO IT! If you smack, each lip WILL stick to one another because it is tacky while dry and it WILL LIFT! 4th) Once it's dry, enjoy!!! 👄👄👄👄👄

Okay so some people are saying this lip gloss transfers to drinks, kissing, cigarettes, and such. People are also saying it's sticky.If you blot your lips with a Kleenex or toilet paper or paper towel it takes some of the stickiness away, but not all of it. Also if you let it dry after blotting it won't transfer. Trust me, my husband won't kiss me without me showing him on my fingers that it won't come off.With all that said, this lip gloss/stain dries rather quickly when applied thinly. I usually apply two coats, but be warned if you get any on areas you don't want it you need to act fast and clean it off. It dries matte/flat and looks amazing. And the best part, you can smile all you want to and you don't have to worry about the color transferring to your teeth!Also, water will not take this stain/gloss off. I use aquafor or the equivalent Vaseline to get it off at bedtime.

This gloss is the boss and does the J.O.B. I love the fact that it goes on as smooth as gloss and lasts longer than lipstick. The L.A. Girl Matte will literally last me through foods, drinks, sweat, and sleeves and will still stays on perfectly. I bought a 0.17 oz and I’m surprised by how much less I go through this gloss than my previous one. I didn’t have to re-apply it over and over again so I’m saving gloss and time. Also, I must say, my lips are so much more pronounced when I wear this and it literally looks like a lip-make-over! Don’t rub your lips together while wearing this and I’ll tell you why. The gloss doesn’t rub well against itself, so it actually helped me avoid compulsively biting my lips because the surface of the gloss has such a flat finish feel. Now I have a simple fashionable motivator to stop my lip anxiousness. Lastly, I found a warm cloth of soap and water removes the gloss and it wasn’t necessary for me to apply any oil to remove it.Pros:Bold colorLong-lasting lip-wear and through everythingNo smearingBest of both world; goes on like gloss with a longer-lasting effect than lipstickCons:Don’t compress your lips while wearing this. It doesn’t ruin the gloss, of course, but the flat finish doesn’t feel good against itself.

I tried this lipstick on before I was going to shower and decided to see how well it lasts. It lasted pretty well through me washing my hair and water constantly running down my face.I love the way the color looks with and without flash. It last pretty long! I even went to sleep with it on and woke up with lipstick still on. It obviously comes off some when eating /drinking but it's finish is dry and if touched will not rub off.Pros:Long lastingNot easily removedWater resistant (to an extent)Dry finishNice colorCons:If trying to use water to remove it would take a long timeOil based removal is necessary for a struggle-less removal so make up wipes may not workI'm sure there's more to say but I have no other thoughts right now so I'll edit if necessary. I recommend the product and love it.

The color is beautiful and people compliment it a lot, but it's a bit difficult in a few key ways:1. When applying, it bleeds a bit around the edges right away so there is a lighter, pinkish outline that doesn't come off easily. When trying to reapply bits to compensate, it gets a bit patchy.2. Though it is mostly dry, it will leave noticeable rings on cups/water bottles etc.3. After 3-5 hours it starts to fade into the lighter, stain-color but not in a completely even way, so it needs to be reapplied or it will look sloppy.The price is decent, but for something comparably cheap and much easier and more reliable, I would definitely recommend Covergirl Outlast (although they don't have as many colors and they don't have one that I liked quite as much as this). This is my new favorite matte lip gloss!! I ordered the color in Instinct,it looks so adorable on. I would reccomend you exfoliate your lips because its obvious when your lips are dry D: also put on lip liner on first because it can make your lips look crooked if you accidently go out of the outline of your lips. Only put one coat on or else it will look gross and get very sticky! Also, Dont smack your lips until its DRY, it will not look as smooth. It dries as a red orange color and is so beautiful vibrant and soft. It lasted all day for me even after eating and drinking. Cons are that it feels a bit sticky and smears a little when you kiss your honey..Woops.. Stickyness is minor and doesn't bother me. It is hard to take off so you will need makeup remover for your lips. Looks great for spring or summer <3!

It goes on so well and is so easy to apply. It might need more than one coat because sometimes it can be a bit watery but not really a problem there. This lipstick literally stays on all day, I can drink and eat and it won't move a muscle. It's amazing, the only issue with this is that you have to scrub quite a lot to get it off, but it's worth it when it stays on for so long. I don't find it drying to my lips either, if anything, after I take it off I feel like my lips are smoother and not dry at all!Brilliant product, highly recommend. I have around 6 of the L.A girl matte lipsticks now and I'm in love with them all. The colours are amazing and they just look so good when they're on!

The perfect red! Was searching for a bright red lipstick that wouldn't come off or bleed half way through the day and this is it!In terms of the actual product I love it. Bought this matte lipstick as I wanted to try something a bit different and thought purple would be a good choice. In the photo the purple looks quite dark but it's actually a bit lighter than that, however still a beautiful colour.In terms of the actual product I love it. Had this brand before in a different colour. Somehow, this one seems to stay on top off your lips and cracks/peels off overtime. Only used once.

The shade itself is lovely (unlike the Blackcurrant one which is terrible) and it is indeed matte and is very evenly coloured, but it's so sticky! It dried on my lips and then every time I tried to open my mouth, my lips stuck to each other so badly that I had to prize them apart. It does have staying power (I had to scrub at my lips with coconut oil to get it off) but it's really uncomfortable to wear and feels quite dry but also sticky as hell, which is a weird feeling. I don't think I would buy this again when I can get the same shade from somewhere like Makeup Revolution or NYX for around the same price.
