Owning a new puppy can be disastrous especially if you leave them home alone. As the dog like to scratch on doors to be let out I thought I needed to buy a door protector. After watching the film on this one, I thought this would be the perfect thing. however, after going through two rolls of them and her continually scratching them to the floor and still destroying my door I have to now report this is a very crappy brand and does not portray the true reality of what it will do. The product does arrive on an easy to use roll however the installation does not allow for applying with withough touching some of the sticky surface, which then loses it's stickiness. It was generally easy to apply however our cat had shreded this in a fairly short time, maybe a week. This would probably be best used not for scratching but to prevent wear on a surface. THis did not meet my expectations where I was trying to prevent my cats nails from further daming a bedroom door. My cats nails are trimmed regularly so you'll want to make sure you do upkeep and maintenance ont heir nails as well.

This is a pretty thick plastic, which is what I wanted... There’re about six inches wide which is what you want to protect the corners of furniture.. They stick good enough, what I had to do to make the top stick good is, I took a hair drier heat gun.. After I put the guard on my coach and recliner just on the top edge (the rest sticks fine), I just blew hot air on that area.. That made them stick good enough, if I didn’t do that the top edges would not adhere the best.. I recommend this product..

The product went on as advertised and I was hopeful it would help keep my Mormon from scratching up the trim. However, she was able to scratch through this even if applied daily or if it was doubled up. Good idea, just not as effective as I had hoped it would be.

It does its job for the most part and is easy to put on. It feels like packing tape and after about a week I had to put on a second layer as my dog kept scratching at the wall. Two layers seems to be doing the job though. It's a good product, but I wish it was slightly thicker.

not the best- it does the job, but looks pretty ghetto- also, it removes the paint/stain on wood when you take it off and it says it has 2 sides of adhesive which it doesnt- you have to meausre then stick or stock and cut while its on the wall and theres no way to get all the air bubbles out since most of the time this goes on wood trim which has grooves etc.

This would have been a 4-5 start review as I have had this installed for several months and it has protected my door. Over time the dog scratched the guard and it was time to replace it. Still all good... But then wen I went to take off the pouchie guard to put a new piece on the pouchie guard pulled off the paint on the door. Isn't that why I installed it in the first place, to protect the door? So the product does work as advertised as long as you don't have to remove it.

Product works decently, but it just looks like shipping tape was put on the window sill. I tried to remove some and it did not leave any marks, which is a plus. I guess I was expecting it to be thicker than it actually is. The guard material just gets the visible scratches rather than the service it is on.

This is like a large slightly stronger than a normal tape. I bought it to use on my front door but once I seen it I've changed my mind because my dog can easily scratch through them. Maybe they are suitable for a small dog. My dog is a medium dog that weighs 12kg he is a Jack Russell cross with a Staffie and always jumps at the door when strangers ring the bell so my solution was to ultimately get some rigid plastic on the door stick with no nails glue and is working great!

This product is a waste of money, a cheap roll of cellotape would do a better job! It removed the paint from my door frame and was easily scratch away with a fingernail nevermind a dog or cats claws. Do not waste money on this. We have bought a large sheet of plastic from Ikea which is normally for the carpet in and office, it’s massive and can be cut to protect different areas and was around this same price as this!

Does the job but far too expensive. Didn't come in the nice box in the picture either, which disappointing as I bought it for someone else. Just a big roll in a clear plastic bag. Disappointing.

Dog just ripped it off the wall/door and made a point of showing me I can’t stop him from scratching!

A little tricky to put on definitely a two person job to get a neat bubble free finish I used to protect the back window of my car to stop the dogs scratching it and it works
