It Works!
It’s been a few weeks and my dryer has returned to regular operation! Yay!!I believe these are of similar quality to OEM components, this is a very simple design so don’t be alarmed by the low price. They work exactly as designed for my application.Previously the dryer would never run through the automatic dry cycle and would shrivel your clothes up to infant sizes. Apparently this is common on any Kenmore dryer when the cycling thermostat fails. I am mechanically inclined but even many of us who are not can replace these components with the help of YouTube. Watch a couple videos to familiarize yourself with the process.*these fit many different models and brands, it is a very common repair. Try cross referencing part numbers from your repair catalog to ensure correct fit. You’ll be happy you did!

Just what I needed!
Only needed the thermal fuse but purchased this kit just in case. Easy to install took about 5 minutes including removing the back panel on the dryer.The only negative that I can't deduct for is it didn't clean out or repair the clogged and damaged ductwork for my dryer vent. That took hours and lots of work.

Fixed dryer not working.
Easy to replace. I would highly recommend replacing both parts not just the thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse fails it could be because the cycling thermostat is not turning off when it gets too hot. Furthermore, if your dryer vent is plugged up with lint the thermal fuse can fail too. The dryer needs good airflow.

Solved problem with dtryer not starting
Very reasonable price for both parts when dryer air flow cycling thermostat goes bad which then causes thermal fuse to blow, necessitating both parts to be replaced. Easy to install yes, but only after you figure out how dryer panels are removed to get access inside near blower fan.

Item not what came
Picture showed the two items needed for the repair. Well to our surprise it only came with one. Once we went back and read the details it tell you that. The picture was misleading. What I paid for that one item I was able to get a whole kit for $2 more.

WORKED LIKE A CHARM
Saved me big money fixing my dryer, took about 15 minutes to swap it out and I saved about $150 on a service call or $600 on a new Dryer!

You might need only 1 of them.
I ordered the kit with both because when pull unit out to test or replace, it was safer to change both and unit now working fine. Both are next to each other.
