This is a deeply spiritual book and I highly recommend it for it's content--the life of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity as recorded by her prioress. But I want to also comment on the physical book itself--it's gorgeous! Embossed leather with gold trim, printed as a replica copy of the 100-year-old original, complete with place-marking ribbon. A real heirloom treasure that hearkens back to when books actually adorned a bookcase. And the seller did a stellar job of packaging it. I have never seen a more lovingly and respectfully packaged book with cardboard cutouts to protect the book edges and hand wrapped--and sealed--bubble wrap.

I know of the writings of St Elizabeth of the Trinity and I got this as a birthday gift. But I was not happy with the printing quality at all. But I believe God is very generous and printing quality is not a thing that should bother Him.
